I own this phone AND IT IS GREAT! It lasts 1,5 days with normal use!(around 36 hours). Maximum life time till now for me was 2 full days. Yesterday i charged it at 22:16(night) and next day morning (today at 8:00) the battery was at 99%. I talked to the phone for 4 hours with loudspeaker, i uploaded some files via WiFi (let's say 5 minutes on wifi), i read a paper(pdf) of 20 pages with speech-to-text while walking to go to the gym and now the time is 23:46(night) and the battery is at 13%. :D I think i will have to charge it again tomorrow morning at around 11 o'clock. So as far as the "talk time(2G)" i believe it will last for 6 hours with no doubt!!!

Anonymous, 25 May 2013@ jitoot, I must say, the battery life could be a bit be... morei don't mind the daily charge as long as it can last me a full 18 hour day with normal usage. i've tried the LG optimus 4XHD previously and the battery life was atrocious, it could only last me about 10 hours

except with slightly better specs such as the dual core 1ghz cpu, Os and body design

Great choice for >200€ smartphone. With normal use (2-3 hours a day ) battery can live for 2 or more days..

I must say, the battery life could be a bit better ... especially if using wifi.
In standby mode the battery life is ok, but you will def have to charge on a nightly basis if you plan to actively use the phone throughout the day.

I have owned this phone for about a month now.
Let me tell you - it is perhaps the best deal around in the smartphone market today.
If you want a proper smartphone, with at least dual core performance, the latest Android software, great looks, slim body, excellent screen resolution (so rich and bright!), excellent screen material, lightweight body, Dual Sim capability (yippee), decent camera, fast performance ... etc - then GO BUY IT!!
I cant say enough great things about this phone - damn near perfect in my opinion.
And oh - I almost forgot the best feature of all ... the PRICE!! Under 200 Euros (USD $260)!!!

Better get this one ASAP before it is pulled off the shelves for ripping off the iphone 4S. It is nearly identical and with the iphone launcher, it is almost indistinguishable. Did I say it has dual SIM and a removable battery too ? Oh it is also expandable via microSD card and and charges via microUSB.

get this phone ASAP as it wont be around for long once Apple gets a hold of one. It is nearly identical to a an iphone 4S, and once you get the iphone launcher, it is almost indistinguishable

Does anybody know if its UMTS frequences are only 900 and 2100 MHz(Europe, Asia) or also 1900 MHz(Americas)?

It's look and feel is really awsome. I was went to buy Galaxy ACE Advanced but after comaring with Alcatel OneTouch start I selected it and really worth it. There are many advantages on this phone like . Wifi Hostspot, AMOLED Screen and Dual Core processor, Camera is quite Fast but only disadvantage is Talk time ... its only 4 hrs which is quite less compared to other similar range phone. But considering price its most affordable with such funtionality!
