Is my first phone .. It has 7 years . and it works fine. battery life is 30% smaller but it works fine.:)

i totally remember this phone it was pretty dam awesome,
back in the day.
it wasnt my first but it was still pretty kool,
i remember attacking the detachable cases with metallic nail polish so it looked pretty lmao

my first phone. it was stronger than a brick. i can't even count the times it fell down the stairs and the times i threw it at the wall . in spite of that it kept on working. quite annoying really :D

i miss this phone really,idiscoverd that i lost good phone (slim ,strong body,good sound and original maker(made in France),good and sutable features),i think Alcatel is smart company but it didint have good markiting team especially in Arabian big market

I missed this phone.....6-7years ago I was using it....it was a nice basic phone....but one day I got mad and throw it against the wall(it was gone)...now i'm looking to be buy a used one(and i can even find one)

anyone know how to stop it from turning off by itslef?? everytime someone rings the backlight starts going funny and then it turns off!!

A very good phone when new, but has battery problems after a few years.I bought mine in 2003 and in 2006 it started loosing charge faster than normal

I am from Romania. I bought this phone in august 2002. It still works. It's a good phone. I hadn't any problem with it.

From Jan.2003,i have my Alcatel 310,it's still working trouble-free & faithfully.It's a most wonderfull & a very user friendly cell phone.Being a middle age with weak eye sight, the Alcatel 310 screen bright screen is vived & clearly readable.The 310 was ahead of its time then & will be in the years to come.I earnestly thank the ALCATEL French Company for such a great invention!!

Im looking for a replacement for my alcatel OT511 that broke down this summer...my beloved. it kept together with electrical tape for 2 years,(i had it since 2001) and i never had to change the battery!! tell me, is this the one? is there a back-ground picture that is the world-map?

Mine OT 311 is still working perfectly and I'm still using it. It didn't need to be fixed at all - I haven't even changed the batterty yet!!
If you ask me, this is the best phone ever created! It needs all a phone needs to have, it works perfectly, it catches network on places muck more newer and more expensive phones fail to do it. It's very reliable and it has a cool design, so if you need a phone - this is definitely the best choice. OT 311 Rocks da house!!!

I have this model from 2001 and is still running :) of course that I've changed the battery once but I never had any problems with it! It is a nice & simple phone, very easy to use and for 2001 it was a great product!

it was my very first fone, i enjoyed using it and it served my well. i loved the games inside, ve not seen any fone with so much to offer with so little money.keep it up.

i loved this phone for about 3 weeks when the problem started..1st the control key , then signal problems,then phone restarting..after about 1 month and a half , i gave it away .. bad set very bad..

I used this phone for 3+ years as a basic phone. My only requirement was talking. It has an alarm also. Once it fell on the ground and since then it's battery is loose. So good value for money.

i used this thing for 6 months and realy i hated it sooooooooooo much
1-ring tones are so bad
2-battery life is not stable
3-backlight dim
4-navigation key broken each week and they are not able to fix it in egypt
