The keypad became insensitive very quickly and the markings wore off early on.

It 512 his correction disease I got it from Westel as an exchange apparatus but was not like that somehow, than the other one. But this was not bad.

I have had this phone for 8 or 9 years, original battery functions well, but the joystick broke after 8 years use. Therefore I want to buy another one, with a working joystick.

If you want a manual for this phone you need to search to the annals of history, which dates back to the Mesozoic era.
This phone was popular among the Pterodactyls and the Brontosaurus. T-Rex crushed it though, which caused it to be extinct around 5 Million Years ago.

I had and used this phone for 4 years and recently it has started to give me problems, such as, asa soon as I ON it the screen goes blank, nothing could be seen.

I had this phone 4 years and at the end, the Joystick (OK button) was completely innoperative for scrolling in the menus.

We have one Alcatel 511 in house and still working perfectly...almost 5 years, still using original battery. Small, lightweight and most important, durable phone which passed test of time.
