I really love this phone and I´m about to buy it, I just need to know something, have any of you had any problems with it? I've heard os some bugs, are they real/serious? help please a kiss for you all

its the lightest alcatel that i have(besides my OT 302, OT easy and OT pocket).however, i somehow failed to download the free trial for OT 511s from the official alcatel website.i just dont know why.

it's really a good phone with light and mighty lookin..but the menu really too sow.. and theres seldom sides for downloading rintones!Anyway, its really a nice phone from alcatel as i really hate alcatel's phone before this.

First, i bought this phone because of the weight and size because it's realy
small and have its own style. But i felt that this phone is not so user friendly
because of its melodies and the ring tones. The volume is realy too low and
somestimes i even miss up my important call because of its volume. It is realy
terible and i dont understand why thedesign of the ring tones volume is to low.
Exept this problem, others function of the phone are still satisfaction.

I have my phone for the last 3 weeks - a very good phone with excellent standby time for a phone it's size. I stand to correction, but it is the lightest phone on the market and given that it's not the Motorola 'flap' type is the smallest. The handsfree option is pretty cool for conference calls.Good value for money.

i have to say i am very impressed about the alcatel 511. it's the best that came out from alcatel next to the handy 701. i own both and i found the 701 is great for business people. what do you expect? great directory!, but it has a flaw, why does mine sometimes switch off? becoming quite often now. the 511 however, is my favourite phone for leisure. beats the nokias and erricsons. but the loading of the directory is a bit slow and most functions take longer than the 701. overall, the 701 and 511 are winners.

Well, ive changed lots of mobile phones until now, ive started with Siemens C25 long time ago then changed these phones: Sagem Mc939, Siemens C35, Siemens M35, Samsung Sgh600, Samsung Sgh2100, Ericsonn T2, Ericsson T39S, Ericsson R320S,Sony J5, Samsung R210S and then bought this one, i have to say its packed with features and is great lookin, small, lightweight, has a long talk time, great games basically its a great mobile, the only real downfall is that it is slow! slow like the old ericsson mobiles, like t29, R320s and such, all in all, a great phone with only one fault!

This is the best mobile from Alcatel for sure . But did anyone know site I can download pictures and melodies from it ?

well can't help it if some jerk like to use public phone. bet they get kicks out of making obscene calls to the operators using "Telekom's" public phone & got away with it without being traced. kalut....kalut....
