This phone is very versatile. It is very good and has a lot of facilities that I like. However,it is very fragile. The casing easily got broken. Right now I have problem with my own. It constantly fails to recognise the SIM card "SIM card is missing or unrecognisable". I couldn't fix this problem eventhough I'm in love with this product. Do you have an office in Northern Nigeria?

Hi,
I've had this phone for a year and it's the worst phone I ever had. Although it's huge memory is a big plus. It's very fragile and turns on and off frequently. I believe that they fixed these bugs in the 715 model. And the dealer here is offering me to exchange it with a 715 for 95USD. I was going to ditch Alcatel for good but I'm going to give it a try with the 715 and see where it can go.

nice phone with a lot of features, but te weakness is the cassing is to fragile,the plastic is too thin so it can be broken easily,with huge memory the weakness can be eliminated. so i give 9 score for this phone in scale 1-10.suggestion : it's better has IrdA, and customize sound for alert calling, message received and other

who ever rates this phone over 2 needs their eyes tested, its a pile of ****. it has no bluetooth, no infra-red or games and looks like it was made at least a decade ago

Alcatel's best design, easy to use, very helpful organizer, stylish - but with one big flaw : It switches off. No one could repair my mobile and it's a pity - after a yr I have to throw $245 down the drain. This will be my last Alcatel.

This phone is bad!!! Here are my reasons:
1. Power button falls off easily. Plastic casing looks cheap.
2. Phone shuts down automatically and very frequent
3. Cannot detect the SIM card sometimes
I still prefer Nokia phones compared to Alcatel.

Can i attach some device(bluetooth or something else)to be able to listen to MP3??Please help&answer.Great phone but if Mp3 is not supported i am going for another phone.

The phone is great! I have OT 701! Superb! There's one problem though... I find it difficult to understand the key sequences for ringtones. For example, there's generally "8" to be pressed, but when pressing it on my phone nothing happens. Are there exact instructions on using the composer and where can I find them? I searched the net, but... alas. Bye!
