BAD, BAD, BAD phone!!! I hate it!! Very unresponsive touch, only 600 songs can be put on your music player and it's soooooo hard to text!!!! I brought it to the service center and said they already "fixed" the touch issue but still it's VERY unresponsive!!! It looks good and it is cheap but I HAAAAATE it! Now i'm selling mine and nobody wants to buy. Alcatel, you suck and you wasted my hard-earned money!!!

[deleted post]Go for Samsung Champ, i have both this unit and Alcatel. I sold my Alcatel OT-710D due to touch response problem although I already updated its version/firmware. You may check my previous comments here.

nosreffej, 01 Aug 2011i never totally loved this phone due to slow text messaging... moreIt's wicked cool, but still slow touch response. You can switch from qwerty back to multitap texting by swiping the screen from left to right when you're in creating messages.

Infact i bought this phone because i thought the opera mini is free, but to my superise is charging my network. it came with no game and not easy to download one.Just using it to recieve call and make calls. Its more like a funtioning toy phone.As for looking beautiful it okay.

i never totally loved this phone due to slow text messaging keypad but yesterday something happened and i don't know how it happened but this phone got a qwerty keypad...its wicked cool...i love this phone now 100%

Help all, i just updated my alcatel 710 successful but it told me to restart and it couldn't come up again.
I tried updating again and it was successful but yet failed to turn on.
Someone please help its urgent.
