1. Excellent in design.
2. Ayus ang tunog ng speakers,... more#5: merong thread style, pero, nawawala ang mga details like time/date the text message was received. that is why, i opted to use the NON conversation style of sms viewing. Its better to know when and what time messages were sent pa rin in my opinion.
The fonts are lovely for me. Though there is no option to change the font size, it is just right. I actually like the font, better than most China Generic celfones in the market. It is a bit unique and this font is Alcatel's "signature" font eversince.

1. Excellent in design.
2. Ayus ang tunog ng speakers, pero i have problems sa headset jack nya ayaw gumana sa isang speaker set ko ang fm radio nya.
3. ok ang voice recorder i use the wav format.
4. dual standby madali ung tabs sa messages pag mag sswitch ka from sim1 to sim2.
5. pangit lang ung treading style nya, sa video kasi sa youtube (commercial), may picture un treaded sms pero sa totoo wla nman. sobrang simple lang ng style.
6. pangit ung font pero large enough naman to read.
7. i recommend this phone to people working on field, kahit kasi nasa labas ka at matindi ng araw panalo pa rin sa linaw ang screen.
8. Camera is better than samsung i think.
9. Mahirap magtxt pero nasanay na rin ako mejo bumibilis na.
10. Mabagal mag read ng images stored on memory card. 8 gig ang mmc na nilagay ko.
11. hindi lahat ng jpeg files binabasa nya, exported pa from adobe lightroom ung mga images na ni reread. di ko pa na discover kung bakit. pero madalas when you download an image from the net and stored directly to the phone file error ang lumalabas kahit 240x320 lang size.
12. ok ung OPERA mini. may installed FB app pero napakabagal.

Yes, as for now we don't have yet configuration for any alcatel Handset Unit, especially for Alcatel OT-710... But, i can give you a parameters where in you can manually configure your setting for GPRS & MMS.
Just Follow the Parameters Below:
FOR GPRS SETTINGS:
APN : www.globe.com.ph
HOME PAGE : http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp
IP : 203.177.42.214
Proxy # : 8080
FOR MMS SETTINGS:
APN : mms.globe.com.ph
HOME PAGE : http://192.40.100.22:10021/mmsc
IP : 192.40.100.20
Proxy # : 8080
Hope this little things well help you huys, since us from globe this is the only way to configure your phone if we don't have the exact setting...
This is already proven to almost top of our subscribers. Especially Myphone & Cherry Mobile User's still didn't supported by globe but upon following the parameters above they successfully now enjoy the service of GPRS & MMS...
Just post back guys if you have any question & clarification.

I understood the posting rules and the last one, "*Unlocking discussions are not welcome"
is the problem Im facing. Havent used the pnone yet and its asking unlock options. Any default unlock unlock keys? Pls help.

Just purchased this unit a few days ago and it proved to be quite a steal with its price! Performance and feature wise, it can be at par with other touchscren phones in the market. On the downside, this phone may not be well suited for those heavy texters as it is a little bit slower compared to others. All in all though, its a good phone.

Anonymous, 29 Dec 2010Ang speaker niya is located also in the earpiece. wala siya... moreyou can listen to the radio on the speaker when you attach the headset.jus press the option scroll down to the bottom of the option and select listen to loud speaker.the headset works as an antenna for the radio.so there's no worry if you want to share the sounds on your radio

mp3, ringtones, alert tones all eminate from the earpiece.
you have to attach earphone to use/listen to the radio. you cannot turn on the radio because the audio will not come out from the earpiece/speaker. you will be prompted on the screen to attach earphone or else the radio wont start up.
