Isnt there a "counter" that appears on the screen (usually upper righthand) that shows how many characters you have typed inorder to know if you have exceeded the 160 character/text message? Do you only know you have exceeded DURING sending when your screen shows you that it is sending out more than one 160 charactered text mssage? I prefer if there is a counter than knowing later on that you sent more than one. Its better to edit it or squeeze text into just 160 characters.

I set my sms to be stored in my sim card and I delete every the previous day's messages I received and send. But I think this phone can hold many messages (sms) because it has 3.5 mb memory for user. Not sure about the actual number but I will try it.

Nelson, thanks for the reply. That is a great SMS feature. I am actually asking if the unit supports unlimited capacity SMS (not just limited to say 200) but it supports large capacity SMS or the sms log can be saved in external memory so the internal mem will not get easily full. TIA

One good thing makes this phone user friendly is, in typing SMS.MMS you are provided with two options and that is: you can use the virtual standard keypad or the virtual qwerty keypad. Just slide your finger from left to right or right to left.

GELO, 17 Dec 2010Does this unit supports unlimited SMS? You can type sms/mms until all you want and when you send it you will be notified that it's 2, 3, 4 5, etc. messages. This phone also has SMS Timer feature. That means that you can type sms/mms now and ask the phone to send it later. So if you are typing sms/mms at 1 pm, you can set the phone to send it at 1:30 pm, etc. just like alarm clock and while the time is not yet 1:30 pm, your typed sms is temporarily stored in sent folder (folder where the unsent sms is stored)so you can view it. When the phone's time is already 1:30 pm, the phone will automatically send that sms even if you are not using the at that very time. Just be sure that you have load credits and your phone is not turned off.

This phone has a very crisp and resistive screen display and that makes it capable under bright sunlight. This means that you can still read your sms or view other items in your phone even under bright sunlight. My Cherry mobile T65 which is almost Php 7,000 cannot be viewed under bright sunligh, not like this model.

Mobile phone games are not compatible to all mobile phones. Even the most expensive number 1 brand nokia cannot assure the public that a certain nokia model can run any mobile phone game.

Games dont work in this phone;( im so unhappy for buying this phone. The speaker is poor, camera night mode doesn't even work. A waste of money. It only looks good.

and it has also a fm transmitter, which u can play ur songs in any car stereo. as long as u know the frequency being used. ^^
