This is OT-710A in Americas and OT-710D in the Philippines where people used to buy mobile phone that can bear two active sims. You cannot see the sims slots here because GSMARENA displays only the first specifications they received.

this is the best touchscreen phone with the very low price. great camera, image and video recording, nice and friendly ui, and the dual sim good, not like any other dual sim that displays the network in a disturbing look...

this is my first time to try a touch screen phone. the screen is responsive and error free if you use the alphanumberic keyboard in typing and sending messages. i find the virtual qwerty to small, you need stylus to type without error.
dual sim active standby which is perfect. battery life is good. screen resolution is nice and readable even under sunlight. very nifty in features. the size is handy enough and comfortable to use with one hand.
i got this for 3,500 philippine peso, a steal for a dual sim, touch screen phone over here. and beside alcatel is french product. it is very good on the cheaper side phone this is.

Im from the Philippines, my girlfriend bought this unit a week ago and I kinda explored the thing.
- Dual Sim (Both Lines are Active)
- Can read .txt document format but cannot edit.
- Nice loudspeakers
- 3.5 mm jack, headphones included (Clear audio).
- Can play mp4 files
- Camera (2MP), slightly slow but good enough (like, half sec. hang time - don't blink!)
- No Visual qwerty when texting, only the standard 12345... etc.
- No Memory card included
- Needs extra care when sending messages if both lines are active
- No stylus, ok to use your fingers to tap
- No games (strictly business kinda phone), had to install some games from the net.
To compare with LG KP500, for me i think they have the same touch response.
This is not the high end type of TS Phone but in consideration for its price its really a very nice package

don't depend too much in the internal memory,you can still afford to buy an external memory for that.having a mass memory,for example,a 16GB internal,when you reset the phone,all of your contacts,messages,etc...that is saved on the mass memory will be deleted.take it from me.i know that seriously,specially on the well known brands of mobile phone

capricorn, 30 Nov 2010If this is dual sim, does this phone have tv and/or wifi fe... moreno wifi. no tv. lag depends, first have your touch screen calibrated. don't make the internal memory full, this only has an approx 3.9 mb (internal). for me, i experience some lags when accessing missed calls but hey this is a cheap phone. build quality looks ok. you can download the pc suite and software updgrade at alcatel's site. i just use this because i'm tired of using 2 separate phones. though what i dont like is that the text and the ui looks a little "china phone". over-all for price and feature ration. this one is ok.
