Alcatel startet neue Modell-Offensive
Alcatel stellte auf der diesjährigen Cebit eine breit gefächerte Produktpalette neuer Mobiltelefone für das Jahr 2004 vor. Unter anderem beinhaltet diese das zukünftige Flagschiff One Touch 756, welches mit einem 262 000 Farben-Display, sowie mit Kamera, Camcorder-Funktion und Java-Engine ausgestattet ist. Insgesamt stehen dem gut verarbeiteten Gerät 11 MB an Speicher zur Verfügung. Erscheinen soll es vorrausichtlich im Juni, der Preis steht noch nicht fest, wird jedoch wohl im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz sehr günstig angesiedelt sein.
Ein weiteres Highlight ist das 88g leichte One Touch 835 im Klapp-Format, welches ebenfalls über ein 262 000 Farben Innen-Display, sowie ein 65 000 Farben Außendisplay verfügt. Mit an Bord ist wieder eine Kamera mit Camcorder-Funktion. Jedoch stehen bei diesem Modell im Vergleich zum One Touch 756 nur 3MB Speicher zur Verfügung und es handelt sich nur um ein Dual-Band-Gerät. Erscheinen wird es vorrausichtlich im April.
Weitere Neuvorstellungen sind das One Touch 556, ebenfalls mit 65 000 Farben Display und Kamera, sowie das Low-Budget Handy One Touch 332a, welches über ein 4096 Farben Display verfügt, jedoch keine Kamera oder MMS-Funktionalität mit sich bringt. Erscheinen wird das One Toch 556 vorrausichtlich im September und das One Touch 332a im April.
Auf die Frage nach UMTS-Geräten, Push-to-talk Technik sowie einer Megapixel-Kamera, wurde uns hierfür als frühester Termin Ende 2004/Anfang 2005 genannt. Begründen wurde dies seitens Alcatel mit der Tatsache, dass man ein günstiger und guter Anbieter von Mobiltelefonen sei und auch bleiben wolle, jedoch keine Ambitionen auf das Spitzenfeld des Marktes habe. Alcatel mache Technologien „Massenmarkt-tauglich“ und müsse nicht von Anfang an dabei sein. Ein Beispiel hierfür sei die Tatsache, dass Alcatel das erste Kamera-Handy im Prepaid-Bereich auf den Markt gebracht habe. Zwar kann die neue Produkt-Palette durchaus als Modell-Offensive gewertet werden, der Hauptschwerpunkt des Unternehmens Alcatel liegt jedoch weiterhin nicht bei den Endkunden-Produkten.
Dennoch hat Alcatel mit den vorgestellten Produkten wohl gute Chancen einige neue Kunden hinzuzugewinnen, da diese durch eine solide Verarbeitung und Ausstattung in Verbindung mit einem günstigen Preis überzeugen können.

My first cell-phone was Alcatel OT Easy thet I bought 4 years ago. I had absolutely no problems with it, and battery is perfect, even today it lasts 3-4 days. My second cell-phone was Alcatel OT Max and I have him 3.5 years. He works perfect! My third was some Siemens, he quickly bored me, then I decided to buy Nokia 3310, it was cheap and all my friends had it, thet was the biggest mistake of my life, a complete waste of money. Battery lasted 9 months!and now my sister has to "fill it" every day! Then I got back to my first and true love, I bought myself Alcatel 525 and he is so perfect and cute, reliable, I adore it. I think my next phone will be Alcatel 756 but in a few years. When someone says to me Alcatel is shit, I would like to punch him in the balls. When someone says to me Nokia is the best, I would like to throw at him my 3310.

I was talking about the number of menu lines, the maximum lines of text it can show is 10 (writing a message for example)

It has the zoom funcion (minimum 5 lines of text, maximum 6 :p) anda it does not have 11mb memory If you check out mobile review's review you'll see an image where the memory is half full and it has 2045kb ocupied

could you please give a full specs of the alcatel one touch 756 mobile phone.. is there a zoom function for this phone? is it available here in the philippines. and pls give an idea how much this mobile phone cost... tnx! more power... hoping for your reply. i'm really interested about this phone.

Sorry for my bad english but i'm french and i can say Alcatel will not stop mobilephones or sell this division but they want a partnership wtih an other constructor like Sony and Ericsson did before. So all of their phones will be available don"t worry and i wanted to say also i'm happy to see people like this mark :)

Alcatel is the best. It always give something different then what others give. Quality wise and value for money it is the right choice to select.But not easily available in INDIA.
