the phone is good though i have a few problems with it. one is i cant pause a song n go to another song , cause it stops n starts from the start n two is the user interface, that should be hugely improved. Out of ten, i give it a 6

hey i have a problem with my alcatel OT 808. i cant use the internet..i bought my phone in london and now i am back in munich. this phone is without contract i got a german prepaid card. everytime i want to use the internet i get the information: HOST not found..but i dont understand it and i dont now what to do..can anyone help me?

mine came with a cd but you can go to this site: global home alcatel mobile phones choose your phone press downloads &then download also update from there

put in a mirco sd in my alcatel chrome and it want turn on it like the battery is but i have charge it all day

Just thought I'd mention that I was having trouble connecting to 'facebook' with my Alcatel One Touch Tribe. I read one of the posts on here about going into my 'internet settings' then my 'Service Message Setting' & switch the 'SL setting' to 'Without Confirm' & I've been able to connect with no problem. The post also suggested I download 'Snaptu' to the phone which I did but had trouble getting it to connect, but once I went into my 'Java Settings' & changed the connection from 'Web 1' to 'Web 2' I could connect with no trouble. Just thought I'd mention how much an earlier post helped me out. ;-)
I REALLY LOVE this phone & the 'Snaptu' is REALLY GREAT 2! Thanx to some1 who posted about all this earlier my phone is working out great!

Took me a second 2 get it to work (just had to switch my Java connection from 'Web 1' to 'Web 2') It is GREAT. Wonderful suggestion. its a great phone! I love it :).but the only thing I don't like about this phone is the camera. 2mega pixels blah! I had before one phone with also 2mp but it bit the hell of this one. well it doesn't matter. another thing, I don't know whats wrong I activated internet and mms but there isnt the [E] icon and I can not surf on any web page. it says : host not found ... is there other settings I must set before I go online ... pls someone help me

this is a great little phone, i keep swapping and changing to all sorts of other phones, including an iphone, but i keep coming back to this one, its reliable, easy to use and looks good, someone even asked me a while ago if it was a blackberry. it even reads my 8gb memory card (has a little trouble writing to it but i have another card that works fine in it so not a problem)

I love this phone coz of the g sensor itz mint, My bird thinks it the next best thing to sliced bread, love the vibration level to it comes in handy in the bedroom
