i managed to view youtube videos on my mobile like you said set the udp to 1024 lowest and 12000 highest and make sure you are using the web settings not the wap sttings , but i want to assure you the service works just fine

has anyone managed to view youtube clips??? If not, then why IS IT being advertised with the youtube spec!!!

you press the control button and the predictive text is turned off.
i have a question though. i bought the phone from t-mobile and got it unlocked because i have a vodafone conract. however, the network settings for java still say t-zone. do you think that can be fixed?

It works with file of Word, Excel and *.PDF.
But it ask a lot of question for the permission to read and write, especially when the file on memory card.
Do you have the same problem ? Or I have a bad version ?

the type of documents this phone reads are txt and PDB. u have to convert you files before trying to view. manual can be found on disk that comes with phone. u can download it from alcatel in pdf form but cant read it with their phone.
as far as youtube vids or any streaming media. still a no go. i gave up. i just dl 3gp from an online site. id give ya a link but again there is no copy and paste on the phone.
other than that, ok phone. 6.5 stars

i have changed the ports 1024 etc and still not working.
the internet browser isnt the best on this phone, so i just use opera, and that is fantastic, overall, really pleased with the phone,

For pdf and word there are 2 little java programs for download, and they will read all-word_and_excel_viewer.jar and Mobile PDF Reader.jar

Hi ive had my phone for about 4 months and love it to bits... just recently though when i start the phone up it either freezes or has a message saying no sim or sim card unreadable. i have placed my card in another phone n it works fine.
i have cleaned it out and everything you can possibly think to make it work...any suggestons

i have big fingers and i am worried that when i get the phone i wont be able to use the keyboard and spend along time just deleted letters i dont want...is the keyboard spaced out enought u can type easily with big fingers
