iam very confused
i want to buy one of two fones alcatel 806 & samsung star 5230w.
if anyone tried both fones i want to ask if there is difference between the two fones in:
1- wifi signal strength and which is better
2- ring&sound volume and which is louder
3- battery life and which has longer one
4- touch response and which is more responsive specially both have resistive touchscreen
i need only confirmed informations and will be very thankful

Both the 807 and 806 are the best by far budget phones this 2011.

The code *#364463# has so many parameters.
I've used it to amplify the sound of phone during calling like u've said, and it works very well.
I just want to know the rest of the parameters, i feel it can solve the problem of screen resolution, and many other problems.
There's another problem:
This mobile can't view images more than about 600KB in size, it show "image too large" message.
But the very strange thing that any image can be set as wallpaper with a very good resolution even if its size is 900kB.

I got alcatel ot-807 it worked perfect co 2 days, and after i turned the phone on it showes colapiration and i tuched the spots and sfter it turned its self on again i cant work with the menu and the down icons on the screen please help .

best phone ever i bought one 2 weeks ago definetly the best ever comes with 2 gigs microsd wi fi and supports mp4 very good the screen is big and the touch is very sensitive all in one the best phone ever i allready have installed some games apps and bunch of movies
