this phone is one of the best looking phones on the market today, i dont fancy tat z600 from sonyericsson, its way bigger and it has less colour pixels, lol, and it doesnt even have a internal colour screen! ALCATEL ROCKS, SONYERICSSON SUCKS!

Real cool. Always been great fans of alcatel for its reception signal..
I think this 835 should get a big boost on its battery considering all those colorful pixels, dont need all those flashy/combo hand set colors,kids can buy kiddies model..keep up the good work

It's compatible with both Samsung (MMF), and Nokia, Siemens (WAVE, MIDI) ringtones.

to "unknown" (about the ringtones) that's tipical from alcatel phones, I don't know why, but when you listen you can only hear a bit, but if you set it as a ringtone, it will play all the ringtone

are the ringtones format compatible with other phones i.e. Nokia and Samsung?
I tried once to copy a ringtone across from Nokia handset, and the ringtone just stopped playing halfway through.
