At this point of time it is not available anywhere in the world for purchase. Alcatel has given ad in times of india in july month for Rs 9000.so one need to wait.

How can the Alcatel people be dumb enough to not to launch this seminal innovation in India. Should have been launched in February and Indian market would have been devastated by this storm. I dont understand who decides the marketing strategy for Alcatel in India. Please give your simple logic and reason priority over those stupid market research surveys.
Just Launch it guys. Any more delays mean you want to kill yourself.

for those who are interested in buying this phone I guarantee you that its a real deal. I compare the screen size of my Samsung Galaxy Fit with Alcatel Ot-990 and to my surprise this one has a much larger screen. The advantage of this phone to my galaxy fit is that it has LED flash and secondary vga camera in front and lower price. Alcatel did a great job with this phone! =)

this phone has no optical trackpad that button below is the home button. its upgradeable to 2.3 gingerbread, also powered by google search and google chrome, bluetooth 3.0, 5megapixel camera and vga in front that can be used as webcam. The price here in Philippines is PHP9,999.

Me just get dis phone from de Carphone warehouse free of charge on a steal at the 60 euro a month. 3000 mins and 30 texts on de Talk network. Plus they gave me 15p cashback for mu bus fair home.
But....

its already out in the philippines for a promo price of php 9999.. im planning to buy it once i verify the rom and ram specs.. doesn't seem to have an optical trackpad as posted here.. looks nice yet affordable.. :D
