As for a screen protection, any Samsung Galaxy SII screen protector will do, or better yet one of those universal thingies that you cut down to size.

the phone is great but in my experience this phone is good in indoor w/ charger in your side for me thats the only problem. battery!!!

Hello people i have strange problem with my phone..
When i turn on wi-fi and if i play game in same time for example game like Temple Run and game lag :( if i turn off my wifi it`s ok.. any idea where is the problem ? Thank you.

Just a wee hint about CHARGING the Alcatel OT-995...if you like using a generic Charger to enjoy USB Extension flexibility then I hope you not make the same mistake as ME. ..I thought a Charger were a Charger until now.. the Alcatel one will Charge from Stone Dead but the Generic one's need 3% of Battery Life or the whole thing gets Dead as if the AC Pac has blown! ! ...now after a few Days of the Battery staying Cold it made me think of throwing my Phone out.. I feel its good to Know what you know when this happen

It,s not one of those uppity high fallooten brand name smartphones, like I stated up above^^^^. I gave my baby sister my old Alcatel Tribe Ph, and it still works mighty fine today. My OT-995 might not have all the bells and whistles that say, Samsung has, but for me this Ph rocks for what it has. The price was really good to, that is what sold me. Alcatel is as good as that of Samsung......:•)

I jest bought this smartphone, my first. It's the OT-995 Ultra. My question is this, how can I change it from the typical android to the carousal format? Other then that, to me this Ph ROCKS. Didn't want an IPhone, gotta sell your firstborn to be able to afford them. I simply jest don't like Blackberry at all. There nice to there adherence,s, but me, no. Also the name brands, Samsung, HTC, LG, Motorola, are not all that great ether in there price points. TO DARN EXPENSIVE. So I figured to give this Alcatel OT-995 a try as my first smartphone, as it,s price was jest right with a new 2 year contract at $169.99. I luv it and it runs ever so smoothly for me.

I just removed the battery and place it again restarted but its displaying logo with white screen and hangs
