i have a problem about my OT-C552 alcatel phone, because it always appears that i have to free up my phone memory, what should i do??

I have one. Great features: Design, keayboard look, excelent screen to be a STN, great camera, very low price (I paid less than U$S in Argentina). Bad features: Microphone, battery charge, battery indicator. My balance is buy it for that money.

the java games you download makes the phone software malfunction unless they were from the company site , so you have to send your phone to the service center to get it repaired

I will buy one these days. In Bulgaria it costs 94 Euro. I will replace my alcatel 501 with this. I think it,s great for the price.

I bought this fone last March 2006. Two days after that, it developed the problem of "Powers off immediately after power-on" after downloading a JAVA app from the internet. Returned it to the store for warranty servicing, they replaced it with another unit after more than a week. Now, two months after that ordeal, my alcatel ot-c552 has the same problem. I think it has something to do with the memory. When the memory is having less free space (mine has more than about 1MB freespace left), the fone starts to have problems that seems to be power-related (turning-off by itself, restarting by itself.) when in fact it is memory-related. Don't make the same mistake I did: DON'T BUY THIS FONE. My fone is now back for repair to the store where I bought it. I'll buy a new one, perhaps the Sony Ericsson K608i.

i dont like this phone!!! i mean sometimes im making a call and it shuts right of! (and the battery wasnt dead) and the battery dosent last much eather. its just NOT a good phone.

this is not an opinion but a question rather. i bought this fon and enjoyed surfing the net and stuff like that but the problem is there is a huge part of my memory that is under "others" that is being taken gradually but cannot delete the content let alone even know were to find it to delete it. please email me a solution

de phone is good coz i am using it even though sumtyms its has its own problems,i am asking can u send an email with de phone after de GPRS activation or u also need to activate de email too coz when i go to de email setting in my phonede email profole is empty & i was sending mms in de past so now de phone is not sending anymore which i dont know is de phone or network coz i can still surf de net with de phone.those are sum of de problems i hav wit de phone
