This model don't have fm radio, only mp3, but if you want model with fm you can buy OT S853, and ot t710.

I just bought my alcatel OT-C825 at Park Square One, store name is Mobile Express. Limited stocks only. I was originally also considering buying a Nokia model withing the same price range but I didn't like the color of the Nokia (orange band) and the store had no other stock.
Now, I seem to like this Alcatel but I'd really wish this phone has a built in FM radio. You can email me at ALCATEL@SURFY.NET

honeyjao, to activate your GPRS just do the following:
1) Of course make sure you have load at least 60 pesos.
2) Check if your phone is pre-installed with globe gprs settings. It should have if it comes from Versatile Telecoms (your unit should have versatile sticker and its box have versatile sticker too or you have a warranty card from versatile when you purchase your unit.
3) If it is pre-installed with globe gprs settings, do the number 4 instruction. If it don't have, email me at nelson_maus@yahoo.com and I'll fully help you.
4) Type gprs on and send it to 2951. Type mms on and send to 2951.You will received reply from 2951.
5) Switch off your phone then switch it on again.
6) After 24 hours your globe gprs is already active.

You will have to ask you service provider for their gprs set up details (server and stuff) go to their shop and ask them.

mozilla, use card reader. It's the simplestm quickest and easiest way.
Ace, units from versatile (those that have versatile sticker) already have preinstalled with smart, globe and sun cellular's gprs/mms settings so you don't have to worry about the internet in this phone. If you are using smart just do this. First, be sure you have load (at least 60 pesos). Second, type mms on and send to 333. Then type gprs on and send to 333. Turn-off your phone and turn it on again and wait for 24 hours. After that, you will have your smart gprs/mms activated. No need to go to smart wireless center.

Whoa! I luv this phone.. the first time I saw it, would you believe that I already bought it that day.. I like all the features but there’s only some thing I was wondering.. Tranfer the files either through bluetooth or usb cable ;) simple as that.
For the phone to become infected with a virus the virus has to be "written" to attack a mobile phone OS... if the virus is not compatible with the phones OS it will not attack it and the phone will not be harmed... but please to be sure, just scan your files with a virus scanner before moving them to the phone.

This phone does not support wma... or wav... but you can convert wma and wav files simply using software like "switch audio converter" that way it can be played on the phone.
Manual lock of the phone is done by pressing the * icon on Alcatel phones usually, but as this is a slide phone the key pad should lock when you close the slider...
