hi my unit cant change a ringtone. i dont know whats wrong... although i changed it to other melodies or mp3s it still wont change when i tried to call it. anyone experience the same problem? pls help. thanks.

Oliver meant to ask if you can check the network status and clock all of the time even if the phone is in standby, similar to the great OT-735 (i)... but sadly this phone does not have that feature, I reckon that the firmware could be tweaked to enable that functionality but the TFT screen does not lend it self for that very well... as TFT screens are much darker and need a lot of light to see things on them. Unlike the old OT-735 which was CSTN and had a useable screen even in low light or no light (standby).

Oliver, sorry for the late reply as I was on sick leave for few days. What gsmarena mean in saying that this phone's display does goes off fully is after few seconds of inactivity this phone's display don't really goes off fully. It deems its light first where you can still view the display of the screen (during that time its display is just like the display of Blackberry phone which is deem) then after few seconds it goes off fully. Other phone goes off fully immediately after few seconds of inactivity.
Your second question is: Is there any chance that the phone will show the signal strength at all times?
This phone can show you signal stregnth at all times of course as any other phone does but there is no chance that this phone like other phone can show you FULL STREGNTH signal at all times because it depends upon the network stregnth signal available in a particular area. This phone automatically locks-up its keypad (except if you turn off the automatic lock feature)after few seconds of inactivity.

Is it possible as described by the gsm-arena test, that the display never goes off fully? Is there any chance that the phone will show the signal strength at all times?
The gsm-arena test said that the display never goes off fully when the keypad is locked. How can I get this? Thank you very much!

The unit you have purchased should have include the PC Suite. Anyway you can download it for free in www.my-onetouch.com. If it is no longer available there, just get in touch with Knight Rider as I am sure he can provide you one.
