    Anybody know a UK retailer for this phone? It's really hard to find retailers of Alcatel's, which is a shame as they happen to be my favourite phone manufacturer.

      Reloading of firmware will cost you not more than Php500.00 or USD 10.41.

If you have problem with your unit's firmware just take your unit to any alcatel authorized repair center and they will reload your phone with the latest firmware.

But before doing that, please remember that resetting your phone will erase all data stored in phone's memory like directory, to do list, etc. But data stored in your sim card and memory card will not be deleted.

                sir/ mam... my phone can only store 18 messages but now only 12 it says on the screen message memory full. ive deleted most of the datas stored in my phone mem still it doesnt work

The price for the micro sd with mini sd adaptor and sd adaptor is 250 but again I am not sure if they still have it now. I hope they still have. In case they no longer have, just ask them when they can replenish it.

OT S853 supports mini sd but you can use a micro sd card just use a micro sd sized adaptor for it. There are lots of micro sd card with mini sd adaptor in cdrking in the Philippines. I have seen it there when I purchase a micro sd for OT S686 last Friday. the package includes a micro sd card, SD adaptor and mini sized adaptor.

I have seen a micro sd card packed with 1 sd adaptor and 1 mini sd adaptor. It is available in cdrking. I have seen it few days ago when I bought 1 gb micro sd for my OT S686.
