coco, 18 Feb 2015its a pretty neat tab which i have used,it makes call an is... moreI updated mine, I now have ma dialer, I can now cheack credits and more but when call a number it's not going and if call the number on it , it says out of service. Pls what should I do to get ride of dis problem¿ I went to mtn office and they told me to go and see a technician.

its a pretty neat tab which i have used,it makes call an is really smooth with the other app...but as always its best to have ur apps on sd card....

Very basic tablet. 3G only despite the fact that they claim 4G or HGPA+ which is not 4G.
Now enough CPU power (dual core) to run GPS. Google maps stops updating after 3-4 min and freezes. Waze is the same, stops updating after few min and shows blank screen. Other than that nothing even to talk about.

The microphone is pretty terrible, and I've had very little luck making phone calls through VoIP services (Google Voice/Hangouts Dialer, Skype, and 8x8 Virtual Office). Voice commands and voice recognition also suffer terribly with this tablet's poor microphone design.

It only has data capabilities with SMS messaging; there is no cellular voice available on this tablet (or pretty much any other tablet for that matter). Though you can't make a phone call directly through it, you can use VoIP services with it, like Skype or Google Voice, though its unstable 4G radio may provide less-than-usable performance there as it did for me.

Frustratingly underpowered, unstable device.
Stuck on Android 4.2. Not enough horsepower to run Google Maps navigation smoothly. Slow, unreliable GPS competes for CPU time, sometimes completely freezes on startup and makes you wait for it to realize "GPS signal lost" and eventually recalibrates over 1-2 MINUTES.
Sometimes the power button becomes unresponsive while the OS remains fully operational with no CPU load (then eventually just shuts off the screen and turns back on to lock screen after I've started digging into other apps/tools to diagnose - meaning it is NOT a hardware problem). Sometimes, the WiFi must be enabled in order for Bluetooth to work. The brightness controls embedded in the volume panel that set themselves will override the brightness set by the pull-down quick panel, meaning that if you set brightness in the quick panel then adjust the volume with the buttons, the slider panel will also re-adjust your brightness without even expanding it to adjust brightness.
Absolutely god-awful camera, reminiscent of a PC webcam from 2004, not 2014. Front and back cameras are equally terrible. No focus capability, no flash, and even apps like "A Better Camera" with massive post-processing can't make a good picture out of its garbage. Why even have a camera?
Its battery life is OK, though it drops like a rock under the load of Google Maps navigation. It's been able to support playing music (Rhapsody or Spotify), running navigation (Google Maps), and tracking location (Glympse) simultaneously, but struggles at this, with apps sometimes knocking one another out of RAM.
Is this what I get for $150? I would've been open to another option other than Samsung (whose corporate behavior and feature-bloat isn't something I want to support), but T-Mobile only had these two 7" tablets available, and I'm not interested in a larger tablet. I've kept this tablet 100% stock, unrooted, as an experiment in how the device operates "as designed", and it's proven itself to have a few serious software flaws, as well as painfully underpowered hardware (its CPU and RAM are horribly limited).
