no sir. really smooth mine is 512ram only. so i recommend u to buy 1g Ram . if your planning to buy popc7 ,I recommend you to check it personally before purchasing it. God bless

I love this phone.
its not lagging on nba2k14 and asphalt8.
I recommend this to buy.really fast long life battery 3days. mine is 7040E.

Hey I would like to buy the alcatel c7 but the price is low and its 1.3ghz quad i would like to know the people who have this phone is it fast and smooth and scrolling screens? Is the camera's resulution good? Does it lagg when scrolling or when you click an app or when you close and app?

i upload video from my alcatel c7 7041x and to see full hd video just go to ;youtube Alcatel c7 Full HD video 7041x and watch. to improve this ,if you have this phone go to camera open video seting and you see -normal . fine .super fine. thats mean 1- 640x480 2.1280x720 3.1920x1088 after recording open video and see details.

When you play music at high volume but not FULL volume, I find that the speakers at some song with low tune/base makes the speaker TREMBLE. like a tiny buzzing sound.

Lmao, 01 Aug 2014Quad, 512 RAM, and 854*480 on a 5 inch screen? this phone is crapQuad, 512 RAM, and 854*480 on a 5 inch screen? this phone is crap ........riplay to you ..you can not see the diferent betwean 854*480 or 1280x720 not full hd but you can pay a lot more money for something that you cant newer see. so this phone is a wery wery good i have also- samsung s4- and what 400eur vs 150eur same speed for booth phone ok my alcatel c7 is 7041 with 1gb of ram it is a shame for samsung now i sell this expensive phone .money for firm.if you take have this c7 in your hands you well a gree with me, great phone for alcatel thi is a best product till now.

pop c7 user, 01 Aug 2014yeah thays the first update for pop c7. the old firmware is... moresir what are the changes for the 01002 update? is it kitkat? 4.4 or 4.3? because the stock firmware is 4.2.2 . Thanks in advance!
