Normally there is no guarantee , because no one wants to take responsibility and when it comes to software, then it is quite complicated . you can look and Alcatel c - 7, which is on the same platform and is a little cheaper because the 5 '' display but the rest is all the same. but if you have more money then with Alcatel S-7 'its better choise because it come with 4.4.2 kit -kat . or s-9 its come with 4.3.JB.think before elect.

Did a lot of conversation today with alcatel support. They couldn´t answer that question!
So I decided to trust you and will buy the phone tomorrow when it´s in the sale here! And then I try my best with upgrading it. (I already looked for the phone-number from the german alcatel repair center :-) )
If it doesn´t work ... I´ve got an eBay account :-)

Please excuse my little english. I need to decide tomorrow if I buy an Alcatel OT Pop C9. So I need a fast answer.
Need a new smartphone because I have to use an app which only runs with android 4.3
My choosen phone will be delivered with version 4.2 jelly bean.
I found an upgrade to 4.2.3 on Alcatel homepage.
I red here that 4.2.3 is absolutely the same than 4.3. So my apps will run with that upgrade.
(Sorry I ask again but I´m not sure if I really understood it (because of my little english).
Another question: will the upgrade be a problem? Or is it easy? Will I get any problems with warranty?

You should try all the applications that you installed to move to sd card . and uninstall any unnecessary app ( like games that use a lot of phone memory) . but some that you can not move to sd card, as well as some app that you can not install to sd card . and you know all the apps you've installed in sd card they still leave part of the program in internall memory storage .

Also restored it to... morewhether the phone is on silent mode. checking and setting the sound. if not, it means the problem is in the software, for example, if you installed some audio program (player or sound equalizer etc) and after you uninstall the program, it may be deleted and some sound driver. so best go to a service, and if it is still under warranty then free you install new android. but if you do not have a guarantee then you charge around 5 eur. the same speaker may have failed but I think it is not.

If you can try your phone to connect with lg watch in the store then it would be best. but I think it should not be a problem, because if the specification says it works with 4.3 os then each phone with 4.3 should be linked.

The speaker stopped working completely. Also restored it to factory settings etc. Still no sound.

you can upgrade to 4.2.3 this is also known as the ( 4.3) and the difference is that bluetooth is fast and uses less energy and a few small upgrades . But if you want the details , then here you have a table for the entire android from 1.0 to 5.0.2 have nice day.
