Comparable to Samsung Grand 2, they almost have the same specs.
Toyish stock icons, launcher will do.
Battery is great, phone has saving mode similar to Xperia's Stamina mode. This also comes with Ultimate Saver mode! similar to Samsung S5's Ultimate Power Saving mode.
Comes with stylish flip cover, girly thing though.

Larry, 13 Aug 2014I use the camera and is quite satisfied. Pictures taken was... morehi ....im not using sd card yet as i still experiencing and familiarising with my fone....i have no problem in transfering photos from fone internal storage to laptop .....i suggest u use a memory card reader....or if u still have problem just try to ask friends if they happen to know any solution.....normally a fone is design as user friendly and it should be as easy as possible
update on my skype problem....
after my last 3 interruption on skype, now everything went ok....my skype now went smooth
i love the big 5.5 inch ips screen.....it really enhance my user experience and give me total satisfaction.i love watching news,tv and youtube using my new fone....how i wish this fone has internal tv like pop c5....
about battery....yes it gone fast.....its normal for smart fone especially those with large screen....thats y lots of ppl in asia carry power bank with them.....in my case i bring my battery charger everywhere n charge them whenever i got the chance...most restaurant here provide plug point.....even in my usual train ride....every seat has plug point....if i happen to get seat.... :)
i wish all the best for alcatel team n thank you for making a smart budget friendly fone.... most students n kids in my town bought lenovo fone for big screen but i dislike their large funny looking camera, and their fone icon shortcut is so ugly....n their dark display...urrrggghhhh

i have been using it for last 4 months... PERFECT PHONE... a guy is complaining abt screen black out during skype... it is his instrument fault... i dont have such problem in spype... battery back up is very good in these segment phones...10 times better battery than iphone... u cant browse in iphone for long.. hate tht phone... there is nothing to boast for tht price.. iphone users hold it in hand in a position visible to others to show he is using an iphone... get some false self satisfaction.. then go home and sleep...

hi.i bought this fone n have use for 3 days.....overall ull be happy with the clear ips screen....screen quite large....camerawise its good tough its not as sharp as a samsung or nokia fone.....video capture pixels is also sharp....
as for skype....i experience sudden screen blackout during video call in skype.the screen goes all black,i can only hear sound.i had to shut down the fone using the lock button.i had experience it 3 times ...but my last session using skype all went good no interruption...so i guess i will just wait n familiarise myself with the fone first....
there is 5 homescreen but the first page homescreen u cant put any icon shortcut there as it will only diaplay ur wallpaper pic...however i figure its enough to do with just 4 homescreen as u can organise some icon into folders and create a neat homescreen page
i suggest u ppl go and try first beforw buying.....im not a heavy user not playing games so thia fone is soo fine with me
and yes the sound when making call its not so loud just average....i wish it could be more loud...

I've had mine for only four days so these observations are by no means comprehensive and may actually have work-arounds I'm not aware of:
1. Rough App Drawer
The app drawer is arranged alphabetically and there seems to be no option to rearrange it any other way. There is also no option to make folders within the app drawer - folders can only be made in the homescreens. Also, the app drawer is divided into three sections: apps, downloaded apps, and widgets, which you could quickly access by pressing their names on the top of the app drawer. Pretty standard fare, except for the fact that these sections aren't exactly separate. Meaning, scrolling past the last page of the 'Apps' section brings you to the 'Downloaded Apps' section, more scrolling will bring you to the 'Widgets' section, and even more scrolling will bring you back to the 'Apps' section. It isn't exactly bad, but it can be confusing at first.
2. Manual Autocorrect
The phone has two built-in keyboards: the regular Android keyboard and the proprietary TouchPal keyboard. Between the two, I ended up preferring the latter because it just had more features. For example, it allows you to choose among five keyboard sizes (smallest, small, medium, large, and huge), which I think is very convenient since this is a large phone. It also has a one-handed layout, which I didn't see in the stock Android keyboard. TouchPal was also very easy to personalize with downloadable skins. What I do have a problem with is the text prediction system. Unlike in most other phones I've used that learn your words silently in the background, this phone requires you to manually save a word it doesn't recognize so that it is added to your personal dictionary. For example if 'apple' were a word it didn't recognize, you would need to press it once so that it wouldn't be autocorrected; the phone then tells you to 'touch to save' requiring you to press the word a second time for the phone to learn it. I really wish they'd fix this in an update, or if somebody out there knows a way around this, please share.
3. Unremovable Widget
The phone comes with five homescreens, and although I haven't tried really hard, I think there's no way to add or remove any. Not a major issue in my opinion since I could get by on three homescreens and usually leave the other two blank. This phone, however, comes with its first or leftmost homescreen totally covered by a photo widget. The stock picture shown is a flower and tapping on it once will prompt you to long tap to choose pictures or albums to show, and true enough long tapping does bring you to a menu for just that. Wait, what was long tapping conventionally used for? Oh right, selecting things. See the problem? This widget, whether you like it or not, cannot be removed. It isn't supposed to be a major problem since it's in the leftmost homescreen and you won't be seeing a lot of it anyway, but it can get annoying at times. Kind of like if someone had put a moustache on the Mona Lisa, all you'd see is the moustache and forget all about the beauty of the rest of the painting.
Despite all that though, I still think the Pop C9 is a good phone. The observations I made above weren't really that horrible and you might be able to live with them, and keep in mind that I've only owned this phone for a short while. So if there's anyone out there who might be able to solve any of the problems above, please do share your solutions with us. Cheers!

Wow! a lot of suncel subscribers here.
Had mine for a few days ago, so far so good.
The specs are what you just get, so do not expect too much of it. And the only color available was the white variant.
The package comes with flip-case and a screen protector.
I do not know if this is downside for the others, but the battery is non-removable, but given its 2500mAh, so it packs some juice and can last a day with moderate use.
I tried having it connected to the internet via wifi and in half-a-day it used up almost 50% of it.
Will still try to play with it, and hopefully share some additional user experiences in the next few days.
