Taiwanese phone maker Asus is all set to unveil the ZenFone 6 on May 16. The company hasn't divulged any information about this upcoming smartphone, but what's allegedly the ZenFone 6 has appeared on Geekbench with its key specs.

The smartphone passed through Geekbench bearing model number ASUS_I01WD. This is the same device that received certification from Wi-Fi Alliance recently.

The benchmark database reveals that the ZenFone 6 is powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC which is mated to 6GB RAM. The smartphone was running Android Pie when put through Geekbench, and scored 3,527 and 11,190 points in single and multi-core tests, respectively.

This smartphone is expected to feature an elevating selfie camera or a sliding mechanism. But, it's currently unclear whether it will be called ZenFone 6 or ZenFone 6Z. However, considering the fact the ZenFone 5Z was powered by Snapdragon 845, odds are this one will be called ZenFone 6Z.

The announcement is still more than a month away, so expect to hear more about this smartphone in the coming days.
