Amazfit PowerBuds Pro bring ANC and health tracking to your ears
Amazfit smartwatches are known for their health and fitness tracking prowess but the brand is now bringing similar features to a pair of TWS earphones. Enter the Amazfit PowerBuds Pro. While they look like your standard pair of wireless in-ear buds, they pack an in-ear PPG heart rate sensor that tracks your heart rate during workouts. Users can tap the buds to get their heart rate readings and also be alerted if they pass a certain threshold.
Another neat feature is the posture reminder which assesses your cervical spine angle through the built-in accelerometer. PowerBuds Pro also monitors your listening patterns and can suggest you to lower your volume following the WHO’s hearing protection standards.

There’s active noise cancelation here too which utilizes a three-mic system to block out outside sounds up to 40dB. The earphones pair over Bluetooth 5.0 LE and are IP55 water-resistant. Battery life with the included charging case is rated at 30 hours. You can pick up the PowerBuds Pro for at retail of $150/€130 from Amazfit’s online store starting tomorrow, July 15.
