Amazon allegedly working on a 4.7-inch smartphone
Amazon, who caused quite a stir with its Kindle Fire tablets, is allegedly working on a 4.7" smartphone, according to industry supply chain sources. The company is said to be working to enhance the hardware specifications of the device, as to compete with the latest high-end smartphones in the market.
The specifications of the rumored smartphone are scarce at the moment, but the device is rumored to sport a 4.7" display. Unfortunately, the launch of the first smartphone from Amazon is very likely to be delayed as the company continues to have tough time with its manufacturing partner Foxconn.
Surprisingly, the rumored smartphone from Amazon is said to carry a price tag of just $100-$200 and it will be interesting to see the specifications the device has got to offer.
