A good tablet if you want a reader with browsing. Browser doesn't cascade open tabs, it only allows for 1 bookmark per page, slow even with sd card. Decent entry level device.

This tablet is okay for basic usage. This tablet is a very low end tablet that should only cost like $15~$20. This is ideal for those who’s on a tight budget or just needed something to distract the kids with.
What it can do:
* Watch videos on YouTube via unofficial app.
* Runs media platforms such as Tubi TV (free) or Netflix (Paid) (different options if a VPN is in place) or Crunchyroll
* video chats via Facebook messenger and Skype
* social media are available (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tik Tok)
* able to play some basic games
Basically, this is a overall really solid tablet if you are honestly broke and can’t afford a more modern day budget tablet that costs $150~$200.

You have to pay 15 dollars or hack it to get rid of ads ("special offers"). You have to sideload Google Play store. These are the two major drawbacks of an otherwise decent budget tablet.

After you do that you can easily put any app on the fire than is android compatible and there is no need to root or void the warranty. Just look up instructions on youtube, google, bing, or duckduckgo.

Anonymous, 23 Jul 2019Can read eBook in pdf format?if you sideload Google Playstore , you can get apps to read most common formats like PDF, Epub, CBR, CBZ. IIRC Amazon Fires natively read AZW(amazon proprietary format) and possibly Mobi.

This device is really only ever good if you got it for a maximum price of $30 and can't afford anything budget friendly with HD resolution screen.
If you really want to take full advantage of this device, and make it worth getting, download the Tubi TV app if you wanna watch free movies and tv shows (selections will be based on your location).

Goner, 08 Feb 2019Does it have an HDMI or micro-HDMI port?The real answer is no. Im using my fire 7 to write this.
It has micro usb and a micro SD card holder only.
