They started using it for her as educational games. She's 2 yrs old. But they would like to get other game like for Google play. Where did you go to be able download Google on the tablet? It would help. We want to add ABCMouse for her. Trying to give her an advantage on her education and life. Thank you.

Still the best cheap tablet out there. Also, the Kindle Fire HD6 has the highest resolution screen of any Amazon tablet ever released (as of Sept 2021)!
It's getting a bit laggy now, not sure what I'll replace it with, but it's been an awesome tablet for 5 years.

I have this tablet for about 4 years. I still use it. But without Google services, it's useless (you have to install Google services yourself). On the other hand, this tablet is suitable for watching Prime Videos and Netflix online videos. It's also great for listening to Spotify music. Overall, this tab is good, but not the best.

This looks stunning compared to any local brands. I bought one on sale last week and it upgraded from 4.1 to 5.1.2 version (a fork of Android 5). The screen , operations, UI is awesome and I use it to carry loads of books / reading. it fits the pocket and costs lesser to the pocket as well.

I have Sony Xperia Ultra T2 which is same as 6 inches screen, it looks much better than Kindle Fire 6, better camera, google play, and phone. I can still put it in the denim pocket, not for Kindle fire 6.

This would be a great tablet: IF it was able to access the Google Play Store, and IF it had a much better camera than the 2MP primary (with VGA in the front), and IF it had a microSD slot to expand the memory without lugging around an OTG cable and thumb drive with the music, video and documents that won't fit on the 16GB version I have. I like the fact it's "heavy"; that means DURABLE. I love the screen, which is quality Gorilla glass, and the swiping action. Definitely well-built. If only it could access the full range of the Android environment, instead of being limited to third-rate apps (no YouTube, etc), it would.....probably cost a lot more. Ah well...some day someone will put it all in the same package, and for a decent price, too. At least Jeff tried, he was just too anxious to lock us into the Amazon environment so we could never leave. And he did it under the $100 price point, so A for effort, Jeff.

It is quiet thick and badly built but good for its price and it is very small, the z ultra is 0.4" bigger making this the smallest tablet I used and I still prefer to use my iPad Air
