Amazon has launched an updated version of its popular Fire TV Stick 4K. Called the Fire TV Stick 4K Max, the new model features a faster processor and improved networking.

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max comes with a faster MediaTek MT8696 processor. While the previous model had a quad-core 1.7GHz CPU and 650MHz GPU, the new model has a quad-core 1.8GHz CPU and 750MHz. It also has 2GB RAM instead of 1.5GB on the previous model. While the changes may seem small, it should make the UI and playback snappier.

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max also features 802.11ax networking, also known as Wi-Fi 6.

The new model also comes with the updated Alexa Voice Remote that you get with the standard Fire TV Stick model. This remote features additional shortcut buttons for popular apps, such as Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, depending upon your region.

Finally, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max also supports the live view picture-in-picture feature from the Fire TV Cube.

The rest of the device is mostly identical to the standard Fire TV Stick 4K, which means it is a pretty capable media player with support for all major media streaming apps and features such as Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos in a candy bar package.

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max is priced at $54.99, $5 more than the standard 4K model.

Enough for what? You have no idea what people will use their device for.

2GB ram is really not enough. Only if you use the basic pre-installed apps and even then, after some time of using, becomes slow... Sad that you buy a new device and it's already slow from the start haha

3 GB RAM should enough .but at least 2 GB RAM and u can use memory cleaner. It clears up your open apps and makes it work like a champ every time
