Android 7.1.1-powered ZTE Z851 gets WiFi certified

A new ZTE smartphone has been spotted online. The device carries the model designation Z851, and has recently been certified by the WiFi Alliance (WFA). The listing reveals the phone runs Android Nougat version 7.1.1.

Sadly, nothing else is known about the handset, including pricing and availability. However, given that it has started collecting necessary certifications, we expect to hear more about the Z851 sooner rather than later.

Could this possibly be the Axon 8? The timing is about right, or was the Axon 7s was it?
