Yea u get A12 but insted of it u can get poco f2 pro (snap dragon 865) for same price

Great tablet finally from Apple. Good for kids like me. I will tell my dad to buy it for me. 32gb rom and 3gb ram with a12 bionic cipset reasonable.

still a 10 year old lightning connector, still an extra charger you need to carry with you just because apple is way behind modern era, with legacy connectors like lightning

it uses the same front facing camera and touch id as the 7th gen ipad
also its a lightning port, not a USB type C
also android tablets are crap bc google is currently focusing ChromeOS for tablets so they can update the software from the usual 1-3 years of OS updates (2-4 years of security) to 6-10 years (or even more) years of both security and OS updates

As much as I like the new iPad Air (2020), I still value the 3.5mm audio jack so I might go for this one. After all, A12 Bionic is the same chipset found in the iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max and it's still performing well.

Shouldn't this have BT 5.0 now with the A12? Is this a carryover mistake of the gen 7 copypasta data or is it really still stuck on BT 4.2? The difference is huge and it would be a dealbreaker together with the low RAM.

The connector for this device is Lightning. I don't know why they put type-c in there
