Undoubtedly Ipad 2 is the best tablet of current time. I believe Ipad 3 will also continue this great performance. Thanks Apple :)

Been there, done that. I was a hater. But when I bought a MERE ipod touch 4, everything change.
I know that you don't have any idevice because of all the things you complained about. BECAUSE YOU KNOW NOTHING!
I too thought of all those limitations, but ONCE I GOT MY DEVICE. I found that there is no limitations at all, you just need to find the RIGHT app for it. W/O jailbreaking I can already play any video format, download any sort of files, open any file type, access system folder, copy files w/o itunes, use my ipod as a USB device.
ALL OF THIS W/O even jailbreaking!
And then after a few months, when I discovered HOW EASY AND SAFE jailbreaking is. Once I jailbroken, THAT WAS IT.
my iPod is better than all the Android, BADA, Windows mobile classic, Windows phone 7 devices I HAD!
Waiting for my iPad2 as we SPEAK!

IPAD2 has not USB 2.0 port please edit details as info is incorrect! Shame is doesnt have this, would be big plus for device in terms of expandability.

nice one, 10 Jul 2011which do you think is the best for education ipod touch or ... moreIn my opinion, iPad, for one reason, bigger screen. Education means looking at the screen and reading for longer periods, in which a larger screen is easier on the eyes and reduces eye strain.

I got ipad2 with 64 gb+3G month ago, getting more and more disappointed. This device looks very nice and shiny, works very smooth, BUT you can do nothing with it. You have to pay for all of the absolutely useless applications. You can not even open simple adds, demo movies, normal Internet sites. Forget to watch a movie in divx, xvid, and other free-films format,forget windows-apps or your home-made files, there are only limitations, as you buy a Ferrari with speed limitation of 50 km/h. Better you buy a horse. It will make all up to it's natural limit.
It is a full disaster!I try to sell mine-somebody wants it?
I will try to find some full to sell this shiny and useless toy.

0.7 MP with HD r... moreNo typo. Admittedly iPad is not great at photography. A design decision, based on the premise that many would not use the iPad for photography, and that those who buy a tablet would have a smartphone. Video is HD, because of the assumption video will be used a lot more, for video calling etc.
If you are looking to purchase a tablet for photography, then it may not be the best for you (Tablet photography is still a niche hobby for now). Otherwise, it is a brilliant device.
