its very nice one, using this last 2 months never face any problem iam using cover i dont know thats why but it ture i never feel it become hot in use of 5 hour continuously.... and the battery life thanks to apple nearly 10 hour on youtube ,,,i can watch 4 movie and can do some chatting ,,, in one charge , but it take 6 hour to get fully charged via 3pin.. from laptop u cant charged ...if u download flex player u can watch mkv and other video format its a free software,,,now iam only use my laptop to download torrent file, iam very satisfied with ipad...u can look long time ur eye never get tired coz of retina display ,,, love it

i would suggest to buy new sony xperia tablet(rumoured) if you dont have to go with this much resolution as this resolution is very heavy which makes this device super hot while using and also affects the battery life with use...Apple has made a great tablet although but in sony's tablet there is a quad core processor...

Can ipad 3 wi-fi + cellular have the power to make word documents? exel, power point and anything just like a laptop can do? If not, i rather buy a laptop. And beside that it can be used as cellular phone you need apps to able to used the feature. I thought when i buy this gadget i simply dial a number and get connected.

Yes, you can use this instead of a laptop, and it is handy for many people. The only thing you can't do is play a CD or a DVD.
If you have things to type regularly, then you will still need a laptop, or you could purchase a keypad for your tablet and use... But small screens can tire your eyes.

It depends what do you need from the iPad ..u can almost do everything in general like browsing internet , chatting , watching YouTube , checking emails , etc.. , but laptop could be used for extra things , since windows os support all office and cad & designing apps
While all pads in general not only iPad is for limited functions comparing with PCs

I've just bought my iPad 3 wifi+Cellular.. It's fabulous. However, I still don't know how to install the cellular application so that I can use the device as a phone as well to make and receive calls. Can anybody advise me?

I had it for 3 month now. I have met one problem. I could not directly open any app after I play any game. It's just so annoying that I have to power off every time after I play game or I could not work with other application. Hac anyone met the same problem? I would appreciate very much if anyone can give me an answer.
