iPad 5 with A10 chip stuck at iPados 16 with 2gb ram, but ipad 6 with A10 chip and 2gb ram Got Ipados17!!! It will NOT get iPados 18!!

          iPhone 7 plus with A10 processor was left on iOS 15. The 6th generation iPad with A10 processor has been upgraded to iPadOS 17. Don't you think it's weird? Why?

I mostly use my iPad for studies and occasional CoDm and YouTube. It lasts for a full day, but depends on your iPads battery health since its a 6 year old device.

                  Exikias, 15 Jan 2024How's ios17 on this iPad?Hi exikias, I have the 6th gen iPad with 32 gigs of storage. I updated it to iOS 17 (not 17.2 yet) and it runs smooth. All my social media and games run smoothly. The only app I face lag is safari, but it's not bad enough to annoy me. Overall it still works smooth.

                        Im getting this on september any thoughts? It is still good i just use it for light gaming and some watching i will use this for like 3 years before upgrading

                                How come this have A10 with 2gb ram able to run latest software while iphone X with A11 3gb ram stop at ios16?

                                Seems like ipados really optimized for ipad compared to ios in iphone.. Huhu

Though just a few caveats. Specs aren’t that high, so most software will limit the size or amount of layers you can use. Also, the glass is a bit thick so it will look like your pen is hovering a few millimeters over the actual lines you’re drawing. It can get annoying for accuracy sometimes. If you can get past that, it’s not bad.
