Anonymous, 08 Jan 2025What type of app? Please i need some info for researchSafari heavy sites will reload when you switch tabs, although its very memory efficient 2GB is still too low, very low even for 2018 which is weird.
Disabling home screen widgets improves app switching vastly, these will also go blank and reload on iOS 17.5 when switching between apps. High end tablets always had 3GB+ from 2013, it doesn't make any sense especially with the graphics shared memory at 1600p...

It works fine for watching movies and videos with some light gaming. The ipad will do it decently.

I did realise that it had only 2GB of main memory. No wonder some of heavier apps started to crash.

iPad 5 with A10 chip stuck at iPados 16 with 2gb ram, but ipad 6 with A10 chip and 2gb ram Got Ipados17!!! It will NOT get iPados 18!!

iPhone 7 plus with A10 processor was left on iOS 15. The 6th generation iPad with A10 processor has been upgraded to iPadOS 17. Don't you think it's weird? Why?
