leiboi, 10 Jan 2019how about the battery design capacity for this ipad 6th gen... more32.4wh or 8827mah. I’m not the buggest ios fan but this 2018 ipad (I own) big battery basically last all day with good performance & long term updates which I can’t say for any other tablet in the market.

Its buttery smooth and battery life is also good. I have PUBG loaded on the background and few tabs open in chrome. Everything seems to be in place. RAM management also seems good.

I'm wondering how long iPad 2018 takes to charge from zero all the way up to 100% ?? Today I plugged it in and it had 45% of charge left. I checked the time, it was 4:47pm. When I unplugged it at 6:57pm, battery percentage had climbed to 96%, so it took my iPad 2 hours and 10 minutes, for its battery percentage to move from 45 to 96. 130 minutes for a 51% increase. I wonder if it's normal?

dangerdude, 09 Dec 2018dude go for the tab s4 its great and better than the ipad S4 is good but it will be full as soon as possible and start freezing..ipad don't. android is best if you buy new every year or after 2 yrs. waste of money.

Ok, I think performance would be more or less the same on iPad 2018, because it's a new device. But battery life? Do you have any experience with iOS 12.1? How good or bad is the battery life?

I got last yrs model and updated to ios10, wont risk updating anymore - its only 32gb so no point in wasting memory just to play fortnite like a nerd

I have purchased this iPad 6, or iPad 2018. And I am loving it, it's a very capable device. Display is gorgeous, and everything is very smooth. Non-laminated display is not an issue at all. I have used laminated screens before, and I was worried that I might not like it. But this iPad has a gorgeous display.
I need a suggestion. Mine shipped with iOS 11.4.1. And it's working perfectly fine, it does everything I got this iPad for. My question is, should I update to iOS 12.1.1?
1) How will it affect the battery life? Will it be worse?
2) Will it affect its multitasking? On iOS 11.4.1, I can multitask easily. Tabs in Safari don't reload, and can have multiple apps in the background. Does iOS 12.1.1 change it? For the worse? For the better?
I am looking for honest answers. Thanks
