I never realized this would be such a piece of garbage... The only thing it's got going for it is the processor... The screen is awful, it's only got 2 gigs of ram, and it's only got 8 and 1.2 megapixel cameras... I don't know how big the battery is but I'm sure they cut corners on that too. Even for 300 bucks this isn't good.

I don't blame you - They are really that good.
2GB is be the bare minimum TODAY.
It's certainly not even near-future proof.
As always, in a few months from now, they will be releasing iOS updates that will slow down the device significantly to a level that will force you to spend money and upgrade your device.
They have been doing it for many years and will continue doing so, despite of the recent device slow down scandal.

It is weird that a sim card enabled device cannot make call or send sms. - thats not wierd at all , its more weird when people make call with tablet . people still using sms ? we got more alternative for message like imsg, facebook , wechat , as long it got internet *thats what sim slot for . dont tell me people still using 1990 phone ?
It is weird that it's camera have no flash, or no upgrade at all. - theres ipad with flash but nobody care about it
It is weird that Whatsapp have no native app for it. - blame whatsapp

Wai, 29 Mar 2018Isn't it weird to have a mouse on a touch screen device?I've used a mouse on an Android tablet. It's the only way to write long essays of more than a couple of hundred words. It's faster than having to reach over and touch the screen if you are using a physical keyboard with the tablet on an independent stand, as I do.

If you can't connect a Bluetooth mouse, it's useless to me. Why allow a physical keyboard to be connected via Bluetooth but not a mouse? Typical Apple controlling, manipulative move to keep people buying their laptops.
