Here is the limitation of airdrop now:
1. iOS with Mac = not possible
2. Mac with iOS = not possible
3. iOS with iOS = possible
4. Mac with Mac = possible
- Regardless of Mac Mavericks. (10.9) or iOS 7.
Thats why i hope next version of iOS / OSX support airdrop with each other.

Dxy!, 08 Feb 2014Can we download windows 8.1 in i pad air.It's not that simple. You could use software like splashtop to use your laptop through your ipad, but actually installing a full-blown windows 8.1 won't work so well because an iPad isn't strong enough to do it.
installing something like RT would work, but you'd have to go through some questionable sources, which I'm not sure I'm allowed to mention...

i got my iphone 5, ipad 4 ipod nano and ipad mini but when i bought this Ipad air its so elegant and beautiful
so lite it just 1 pound i carry it to the gym to the market and to my office its fantastic thanks aple

Hope next ipad will have :-
1. Airdrop with Mac
2. Thunderbolt to lightning connector (docking with thunderbolt display)
3. Bluetooth mouse support
Then an release of keyboard/mouse games!!
