hey,
all new processor and power with lighter weight but still samsung note 10.1 would be batter i guess coz it has 3gb ram + SD card slot + a stylus pen which can perform a lot of things .
why do not apple go higher now? with some great innovation so that i switch to ipad.
because i love apple more than samsung :(

Means iPad Air = 1.567g / mm3
iPad mini 2 = 1.688g / mm3
iPad Air is still lighter per volume.. gram.

I can have a 6GHz dual core pentium 4 but that doesn't mean it'll deliver twice the performance of a quad core i7 at 3GHz. The same applies here; the processor is running 100MHz slower, but it's a more powerful processor per core.

[deleted post]iPad is losing its sales to iPad mini due to portability.
No normal consumers will give much a damn about 1gb ram, and note that android takes more ram then that of iOS per app. - 5 apps on android already consume over 1.29gb ram, services included.
I think they saw the power of the A7 compared to s800 chipset, they decided its time to reduce the size and weight in this current gen.
I bet they will sell less if they keep the same form factor/weight and have 3gb ram or A7x..
compared to reduced size/weight while having a decent SoC.
The ram is on the chip.. not soldered seperately. So if you see A7 most likely its 1gb ram.

[deleted post]You dont notice anything different with multiple games open on the Note tablet because its constantly slow. Gee I'm glad to be able to multi-task with constant crappy performance.

And that annoys the hell out of me. The whole point of using tabs is to eliminate reloading time and remember your viewing place on the page

No-one care how much ram the device have if it works perfectly and you never need to think that wish i have a more memory.
I have iPad 3 and it has also 1gb ram, have i never needed more? No.
