Nothing new here I'll stick with my iPad 3 thanks, Apple slipping about time someone knocked them of their perch. Nokia tablets and phablets not now Microsoft took over.

1.3 ghz dual core chip and 1 GB RAM= three year old/ terrible spec (I think there's smart watches with better spec than that).
As for the applefanboy listing all the 100's of dollars of junk he needs to add to make an iPad even half usuable, you can do that straight off the bat with any high end android tablet. Plus you only have those abilities on your iPad if you are in your bedroom, unless you plan on wheeling around all that stuff on a big trolley where ever you go.
Come back to me when you can download torrents straight to the device, stream every and any flash based sport event, use the entire web, have access to SD cards, flash memory sticks, hard drives and ps3 controllers connected to the device, don't have to connect your tablet to your PC or I'm guessing in your case Mac book air to put anything on it ( which in this day and age is frankly embarrising and means the iPad isn't a standalone device) plus don't have to keep paying money to your pimp 'Apple' everytime you want to do anything. MUG!

With the Note 10.2, blame touch"wiz". It's a crappy skin. Compare it to stock for a fair battle.

Ios devices run better with dual and 1 Gb then the android with quad core and 3 Gb ram. Everyone knows that. No argue.
Jst play with the note 10.1 2014 and ipad 4 which is last gen. Ipad 4 is much faster and smoother.
