Apple is reportedly working on a 12.9" iPad Air

All the iPad Air models Apple has launched until now came with screens smaller than 11". However, DigiTimes claims the Cupertino-based tech giant is working on a bigger iPad Air, with the display measuring 12.9" diagonally.

Citing "industry sources," the publication also claimed that this 12.9" iPad Air will pack an LCD instead of a mini-LED panel, which is what the 12.9" iPad Pro has.

How is LCD a downgrade? Until burn-in free OLEDs exists or are able to be repaired without total screen replacement, LCDs will be here to stay.
