Major issue: Apps require a higher OS and the mini 2 is locked at a 12.5.5. When trying to download most apps it tells you to update. Also it wont install my back ups of apps. I have a back up from a 4 years back that used to work and now it doesnt. Watching movies or streamin holds up great after all these years. Using a mobile sim on it cause it to get hot I found.

My mum used to got an iPad mini 2 for work at Cathay Pacific, My mum cracked the screen in 2018 from crew seat and I feel very upset, Fortunately, My mum returned the ipad in 2019 for a new iPad 6

I have An IPad mini 2 and an Alcatel Plus 10...the Alcatel is more powerful in cpu and ram than IPad mini 2, but the Ipad performance are better

ddas, 21 Dec 2021Today I’m selling off my 16GB iPad mini2 after using for 5y... moreReally good tablet I had it for more then 7 years and the screen was good the 2 bad things was I had 16gb storage and 1 gb ram witch was pretty slow and you couldn't really download that many apps or games but for watching live streams on Twitch/YouTube really smooth 1080p So for games OK but for sitting on your couch watching a movie it was really nice,also really nice for calling and scrolling through social media but really slow in websites. I and would give it a 7.3/10 in 2022.

Today I’m selling off my 16GB iPad mini2 after using for 5yrs. Though it has stopped getting update post 12.5 iOS….but it ran well with little bit hiccups here and there. Loved 🥰 it’s experience. Gonna miss my iPad mini2☹️. Instead I bought a 64GB iPad 9th gen.

Outdated. Many apps will not work or will use a version of older software, if available. Unfortunate. I still like my 2nd gen iPad mini. Still work, updates, is an otherwise great tablet. Like it a little more than the 5th gen that I bought just for FilmIc Pro remote for one reason: 2nd gen has "Update" button. 5th gen does not. Have to manually find update on new device. The older, simpler device is in my opinion, a better user experience.

Just had one of these given to me, thought I couldn’t update it, so used the ios15 beta profile n boom, I now have a faster and up to date iPad mini2. Saved myself £500 plus as was going to buy a new one. If you want to keep it, I suggest enter it into the Apple beta program. You won’t regret it and save tased money at the same time. I now love my iPad mini.

i cant update it to ios 12 through settings or iTunes it will always say that it is updated to the latest version pls help
