Non Retina display but I hardly notice. Pixel density is good due to smaller screen. Though processor speed is like an iPad 2. I didn't like the connector - can't dock it without buying an adapter (which Apple over prices). Other than being able to plug it different orientations, it still terminates in USB2.0 at the other end, so no point in terms of speed.

It's wifi transmitter may be selective - not work well with older routers. Fine if you have new router and only connect at home, but for public places you will either have to re-register the device on the router, or not be able to connect at all. Same with other new Apple products.

Rudy, 01 Feb 2013hi, i was planning to buy an ipad mini, and it's stuck with... more1. Its display can be bad to look at if your accustom to iphone 's retina display. But its easier to hold on the hand then the full size ipad, thus good for watching video/pictures when holding it.
2. It does not slow down or jerk when in most applications. Only the slower app launches compared to ipad4.
3. Gaming on ipad 4 looks the best .. but playing games on ipad mini is the best .. because of the weight and size.
But the best thing i feel about ipad mini is the battery life.. it completely trashes all other 7 inches tablets .. and some full size tablets. Example.. i listen to music 9am to 6pm non stop on my bluetooth headset.. .. battery life 99% to 89% and my bt headset ran out of battery... Typical usage is like 10 hrs usage and 3~4 days standby.. moderate use. but could run out of battery if watch video 10 hrs straight..

Being an iOS device, there are no lags whatsoever. You might have an app crashing once every month or so, but its very rare. For the price, its a STEAL :)

I am an android user... And I never thought ios is this good... Wow. Now I understand what some people hate iOS.. I am happy with my new iPad mini

hi, i was planning to buy an ipad mini, and it's stuck with few concerns to make it worth in my eyes
1. did iPad mini's display looks bad? i mean for watching movie, photos?
2. did it ever got some lag, slow or something slowing the performance?
3. if compared with ipad4, is there's any HUGE different on performance especially while open some apps or games like Infinity blade, MC4, or the others extreme graphics games outthere? I know that was A5 vs A6X chips, but I just need some proves in real usage
if you ever experienced iPad mini by yourself, please tell me, need to decide ASAP :) thanks before

u can enter the mobile number n go ahead.
confirmation message( code) will be sent to your mobile number
and after receiving confirmation code , enter it on ipad... and kick start yor app ..
same can be done for itouch too ;)

I went to buy ipad4 in the store and also played with mini....I'm impressed with the looks and built...but I decided to buy ipad4....but I will surely get one Ipae mini 2 with retina display ....:)
