Approximately 45 mins away from TSMC Headquarters.
Since we are having a corona outbreak, they decided to come up with this brushed version of ipad 2018.
They will be holding the real deal for the last quarter of 2020 or may be later.cheers !

Seems like the old ipad pro with an updated camera. Too bad people don/t use their tablets for taking pictures as much as they do their phones...

It's a big shame there's still no OLED for iPads.
Would see if I can get a trade in for my 2018 -- provided the price is sensible as this is Apple. Just for the extra RAM.

Still no OLED. Dail. OLED looks way better imo. Even my €400 tablet has an OLED screen (not a cheap one either).
The new OLED screens have a way smaller chance of burning in.

The real deal will be unveiled on the last quarter.
We were all waiting for at least A13X and may be a new
Type of led screen.
So this all holds up to upgraded version of 2018 line up.

Not sure why they did this, because it's not a convincing buy over the 2018 version, which many people will still hold on to. If it had a telephoto lens for portraits then absolutely, but there's no point in adding better microphones right now if you can't do an entire workflow of taking photos and videos and editing them entirely on this device.

Why not OLED and true 120Hz display? That would give a huge bonus compared to Samsung's Tablets. They have OLED displays and it's 10 times better than the IPS Apple uses. Moreover Samsung gives you a desktop class like experience with Dex. Apple tried with iPad OS but it's far from MacOS.
Still in everything else iPad > Samsung Tablets.
