For the 6s, 3d touch could be mentioned but since 3d touch doesn’t exist on newer iPhones (rather there is haptic touch), it makes sense 6s didnt bring any major change

6: again nothing major
6s: again, no big upgrades
7: water resistant
x: face id
xs: no major update
11: triple camera
12: 5g
13: slimmer notch
14: esim
15: usb c
16: apple intelligence
...
yea.
the 3gs, 6, 6s, and xs didnt have any big bold new features
and the fact that each one follows a similar design to the last generation, its just wild. the iphone isnt just a part of an ecosystem, its an evolution in its own.
