Thats impressive and i'm happy for you, but the original n95 is an inherantly faulty handset. They've improved beyond a doubt within the last 2 or 3 months and the n95 8gb seems to have cut out practically every fault with the original but its like playing a lottery with that handset, when they work and have no faults they are brill, when they have a fault its a big one...

I sell phones and have great enjoyment in telling people about all the horror stories about the n95 and telling them that the best phone on the market for general sale at this moment in time is the iphone, its not speculation its fact, i can ask anyone in this store or our other 3 stores in the city and they will agree 9 times out of 10.

The n95 (original) was a god awful phone......we have one customer who has had twelve replacements as they keep going wrong, not one fault many faults.....how many replacements before this guy bites the bullet and gets a decent phone.

I cant say the n95 doesnt have features as it does but its pointless ramming a phone with quality features if its in for repair for 6 months of the year.

I had the n95 before i upgraded to the iphone, the n95 was the worst phone i have ever had, its a joke. rubbish battery life and a sucky OS. the iphone is the only phone i have ever had that i can happily say there is no other phone in the world i would rather have than the iphone.

              FYI...

              http://www.apple.com/uk/iphone/specs.html

Please note that the iphone has
              Bluetooth 2.0+EDR

"Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) was introduced with a different encoding scheme that increased the data rate to 3 Mbps"

This shows that the phone is able to send data via bluetooth, which it will do as soon as apple can clear copyright laws for music transfer.

The iphone will also now include the bbc iplayer in update 1.1.4 with will give OD tv on your iphone! NO other phone can do that!

People who can afford an iphone need to get of this forum and get back to the n95 forum.

I like my iphone so much it has converted me from windows to mac so i am going to sell my vaio and get a macbook, its just so much more clever, just like the iphone. regards

this phone is the most overrated peice of kit ever released. its a poor phone, and a poor ipod. and an even poorer camera, so frankly its a failure.

its over priced and the only in your face nice feature is a touch screen and decent memory. i have an ipod as a music player, i have a n95 8gb as my phone that does everything, the 8gb memory is a bonus and not needed, the high ram is a nice bonus also.

i have nothing against people who love this phone but everything it does has and can be done much better. the n95 for example is not perfect but smashes the iphone in every respect as a phone and what a phone is suppose to do. very dissapointed in iphone, too gimicky and as a result lacks any amazing features

I absolutely love the design of this phone! You can walk up pull out your iPhone and get looks of envy. Everyone knows Apple, they're just going to keep getting bigger, and they know that. I would like to see more phones from Apple. Slow down on the iPods... lets see the Phones!

I can receive e-mails without being in an edge area, i havent actually been able to get an edge coverage in my area (plymouth) since getting the phone.

This does however cause problems with youtube as this DOES need an edge connection.

if this is intended to be used for some business purposes then its just crap. i mean the web browser doesnt support flash (LOL?)

the emails come in via edge? (in the UK thats like 30% coverage as most of it is 3G).

i do complain but i just want one for some reason

                                      hi mr ahmad

it's very easy to install software. u must be connected to internet via ur phone network or wi-fi. if it is so, proceed as under

                                      1. tap installer.
                                      2. tap install, or if u r doing for first , tap source and then refresh at the left top corner.
                                      3. after refreshing, tap install at the left bottom.
                                      4. find a lot of software, choose one and tap install at the right top corner.

care: dont upgrade ur phone from here, it will lock again. cheers

Networks have always had the ability to unlock phones and in the UK especially when a contract runs out the network (excepting 3) will normally allow a customer to unlock a phone, even help them to do it as after a contract a customer isnt tied to that network anymore.

How this will figure with the iphone is a different story as it appears when you upgrade the phone on itunes it re-locks the handset. So our customer rights seem to be violated.

Anyway back to the gist of this post, the network has the ability to unlock the phones and if AT&T have an abundance of iphones, too many to sell, then it wouldnt suprise me if they try to get something back for them by unlocking and selling.
