Lets be honest,,most people are putting the fone down because of its price,,lack of features and length of contract,,
Well the specs are on this forum you new what they were so how can you complain,it does not video record you new that so how can you complain you new that,,this product is overpriced your damn right about that my fairly high spec laptop was cheaper than this and these contracts get bigger here in uk 12 then 18 then 24 months.However carfone are looking to start different contract lengths,,so people are right on 2 accounts about the product,
My verdict tho it is a nice product and wat it does is special but well out of my price league

Just got a mail on my Iphone with a PDF attachment opened it right away with no particular software zoom in on it with
Fingers and read it on great display

why they do not use the N95 instead if it is so good.....
People talk and the quality of the Iphone is well appreciated

nj3. Cell companies just use the iphone to suck people into 2 and 3 year contract's by selling it cheaper. They know enough people buy this phone that can't even compare to the quality of the n95.

Iphone has done really well, just think apple has only been in the phone industry for about 1 year and they have sold millions of iphones.
Try telling the people who have already got the iphone that the phone is crap, They would probably laugh at you and tell you to wake up or say stop been jealous because your not having it
Sound and the internet on the iphone work like a treat in my mind it's the best phone ever to touch this planet.
I think every person out there been negative about the phone are jealous because they simply can't afford it so all the haters out there can keep complaining because you aint having it haha.
Let's be serious if ever a super handset comes out those who can't afford it will always complain and make silly negative issues on the phone
However if you fancy a cheap h/set go for the n95 it's free on some tariffs.
I have the h/set myself but use it mainly for the tomtom in my car.
Apple have done a really good job with iphone, just watch youtube and surf the net and listen to the music on the phone you will see why the iphone is the king :-)

You are right it is not a phone but a new internet mobile device :
this is why millions were sold in such a short time and phone companies compete to get it exclusive and pay millions to Apple for traffic generated on the Iphone.

I hate Iphone, crappy confic, issues about unlocking, ugly apple os platform, no 3G, BLUETOOTH only for headset, crappy, windows mobile devices are best

guyz, this is just an ipod with phone function. i rather get a nano video and nokia n82. yup separate device but they do what they do best....satisfy me! yeah!

Apple has been seeing record Mac sales for quite some time now and as expected, the company’s platform has been slowly but steadily gaining market share. While the Cupertino company may only have a tiny fraction of the entire worldwide market at the moment, its growth is unparalleled.
iPods, iPhones, the ‘Get a Mac’ campaign and even the latest Mac models themselves have all generated so much buzz that Apple’s mindshare has grown dramatically over the past year. Not surprisingly, this buzz as well as the halo effect have had a major impact in attracting new business to Apple.
Research firm Net Applications reports that Apple’s global share of the personal computer market had grown to 6.6 percent in September. Considering that during the same month last year Apple had 4.7 percent, the year-over-year gain is over 40 percent. Even on a short term, Apple’s market share grew from 6.15 percent in the previous month, which would amount to a sequential gain of over 7 percent.
The growth that Apple is seeing is simply amazing, especially when taking into account the fact that Leopard is due to be released at the end of the month and many users are postponing their purchases in order to get the latest version of the operating system with their new machines.
All that market share had to come from somewhere and it is not surprising to see that Microsoft saw a decline of 3 market share points from the same month a year ago. Apple has been reporting that over half of their Mac sales are to people new to the platform, and the market share results are starting to reflect that in a big way.
The company is expected to continue to do very well in the current quarter, due both to back-to-school sales and the recently released iMac models. Some analysts are predicting that Mac sales will exceed Wall Street expectations by as much as 400,000 units, for a total of 2.35 million iMacs and MacBooks.

Apple Inc.'s share of the U.S. personal computer market for the third calendar quarter of 2007 was 8.1 percent, up from 6.2 percent during the same period one year ago, according to preliminary results released from Gartner on Wednesday.
The Cupertino-based company's U.S. Mac shipments grew 37.2 percent year-over-year -- more than twice as fast as any other manufacturer ranked in Gartner's top 5 PC vendors for the three-month period ending September -- helping it snag a spot as the No. 3 U.S. PC vendor overall.

inabilities on this blog, It is evident you have never used an Iphone
the does are A LOT MORE than the does not, sure it does not have a kitchen sink included, but it enables you to have internet in your pocket with a fantastic user interface that only OSX can give.

What fw do you have? If its 1.1.1 or later you should be fine. I'm still using 1.0.2 and I had that problem until I dl 2 modded files from modmyifone.com now my iPhone is good with sound quality
