It is a good phone, it many things that other phone doesn't. It is a closed device, the only thing you can share are photos. If you want to do more, you have install third party applications (on your own risk). Then, you can get access to all its files. You will find that it is a Unix system. I installed a ssh and got access remotely to a server. Also got access from my lap to my cell phone via wifi. It is a super phone, if you can get more than apple let you know it has. I waiting the SDK kit for development and wait for other programmers do what is missing in iPhone cells. For example, if you want to find someone in your phone directory you have to scroll all the list down (I have more than 200). It needs a program to find a record, it needs a program to edit your photos, it needs a multimedia sms.
It is a very good phone, hope to see more programs to add.

Forgot to say that you hear people in the lines at the apple store are mostly there because of word of mouth and referrals,flush your N95 down the toilet.

hi just been told you cant buy i phone on handset only from o2 .any one know if this is true./???? also someone said you have to have new iphone contract .any views or news appreciated asap

apple store selling i phone to lot's of people, big deal, it is just a status symbol to people who know nothing about what good spec's are in a phone. good spec,s equal n95.

No problem :) glad i could help... So you own an iphone thats great:D hope you enjoy it as much as i do! Just turn on the Wi-Fi in your phone setting enter the password of the connection you're connecting to (if there's a password) and you're good to go :D Lemme know if you have any problems... Ease of mind:
with the Iphone all settings work flow less wifi automatic and so on
I still have a Nokia E61 it is so complicated to set to surf on WI FI
that I am going to dump it for ever

I was today in big shopping mall in Miami, at the Apple store lines of people buying the Iphone, at the other Phone stores selling Nokia N95, nobody......
The Iphone success is unquestionable !!!!

Hi everyone I have iphone for a week, before iphone I had se p910,se p990,nokia n73,nokia n95. I love this phone, it was aowsom, I think this is the best phone that I ever had,so just buy it

has anyone heard any information on a 3G and WiFi iPhone coming out anytime soon? I've heard a lot of rumors that I should wait for the 3G version of this phone to come out, which is why I still have not purchased it.

i bought a lot of phones ..se ,nokia samsung, etc...expensive ones as i travel in asia i bought the iphone illegally unblocked...this phone is the best i have for long time,i donot use all fonctions as i have computer or music player...but to call, send sms ,take pictures etc so good !!!in asia price was not expensive.[it is not in thailand ]

To: nhk - thanks for your response. As I understand with your reply, iPhone will not locked using Wi-Fi, this is what I'm scared of. Yes, a lot of hotspot to access WLAN here in our area. In fact, my unit was also bought from Bahrain and we are only neighbour (Saudi Arabia). Well, I'll try the Wi-Fi and I will let you know.
