This is Phone is really cool but where I live we will have to pay a wooping $7000.00 for it so there is no way I will every see myself spending that kind of money on a phone and half of the features aren't even available down here so that's my opinion but trust me there are alot of people down here who can and will buy it!

its extremely user friendly, nothing too complicated, but it has one major flaw.

use it for 5 minutes, and it becomes the smudgier and greasier than the roof of the fryer in macdonalds. And trust me, its not my hands, everyone i know has streaks along their iPhones.

Just, go get a decent sony erricson and save yourself £100.

This phone is good but i think apple should stay with iPods and not try and make phones because when your using it it seems like a ipod with a camera not a mobile phone!!!

Yeah, I'm tired of hearing the world "Revolutionary" as a lame excuse to give the iPhone more value than it actually has, I mean, I don't see it doing anything new regarding communication, and by communication I mean making and receiving calls, and sending SMS, I don't mention MMS because it doesn't even have this function, but well, I don't know many people that use MMS a lot.

So please, iPhone defenders, enlight me about all this "Revolutionary" things the iPhone has.

P.D. Please, and I mean it seriously, don't try to sell me the idea of the multimedia functions, I do konw them, have seen them in action, and even though I think they are good, they seem far too simple, and don't tell me that the "Revolution" is making things simple, because that's just simply a lame excuse for not looking behind the fact that you don't want to feel scammed by Apple.

                  Thanks

Kathy - figure out how these posts work ...

I was the one who said people should test the phone before commenting.

The way it works is post then name.. not name then post. If you haven't noticed your name is below your post... no the other way around. Geeesh!!!

I just bought an Iphone from Sofia, the phone works great on the local GLOBUL GSM network. The EDGE works as well, thus getting my e-mails without any problem, browsing on Safari is perfect. WI-FI works good as well.

hey guys don't praise the display of iPhone too much because in pixel density N95 is just around 12% less and not much difference. The only things which are worth praising in iPhone are its touch screen concept, its user interface and it looks beautiful other than that I didn't find any thing great in iPhone. If you all than please write it here.

hey tordrumguy ! dont say that because you havent try the phone yet. it is really cool why does it has to be like SE or watever that you list above because it is Iphone not like other. you have to research before put any opions up here.and another thing, you are in Belgium no Iphone there how do you have a chance to try it.

seeing you've never held one of these devices in your hand makes your opion pretty much worthless. At least test the phone before making a comment.

In fact, I don't think you have even read the review on here. You say the iPhone is too big... yet the picutre comparison on this site shows it is no bigger then the N95. A clear indication you have not actually held this device ... or taken the time ot research it.

Here is a fact, Apple has shipped over 1 million devices already ... with their very first shot at the mobile phone market. And they haven't even released in an other market then the US.

Add to that you have mobile vendors lining up to be the next to sell this phone in Europe.

Please do some research then post.

                                        The I Phone:
well, it's nice, yes, very nice, thin and with a wide screen, 4-8gb.

but what about the BAD things:
-the battery life(only 250hours, and a SE is 350-400 hours ) and the 2mp cam without flash :-(...
-and do not forget the slowness of typing a number or a sms,
-this phone is really big! imagine having this phone in your jean's pocket.
-what about sending music tracks with bluetooth, is it possible, or will it be protected like all the Ipods are?

and why so big? like the american cars, big and crappy...? why not making smaller like Samsung, SE, Nokia and others do?

this phone is not a real phone, it's only a "rich, dumb" girl's gadget. it's only going to be a fashion product
it is dedicated to the US market and not for the EURO market mentality.

I m disappointed by the work of Apple on this Iphone project. they could have done much better. like SE does with the w960i for example

I m from Belgium(in Europe) and no perfect english writer, so i m sorry for the typing faults.
