The iPhone is absolutely worthless. There is no use for it. It is uncompatible with EVERYTHING... The only thing I know that is compatible with it is iTunes and related products of iTunes..
I'd recommend a Nokia N95 over it if you're looking for something fancy. If you're looking for simplicity, sporty, amazingness, great sharing, amazing web browser, GREAT Carl Zeiss 3.2MP Camera, I'd recommend the Nokia N73.. I have the N73 and my Dad has the N95.. I know what I'm talking about..

I am in U.K. and been reading comments and have come to a solution as to why 3g is ommited,,sum posts are saying 3g is in its infancy in america so apple chose not to use 3g yet as it may of not be of much use,,well here in U.K. we cant get fones that have proper tele recievers in but Italy and Germany do its because dvb-h is not coming to U.K. till 2012 so their is no point selling us them although they look really cool..I am not going to make any judgement yet till ive seen one working which is a while yet,,but from what ive seen what it does it does good,,its looks like really simple idea of super touchscreen that works so smoothly.In U.K. a lot are moaning at so many lack of basic fone features and maybe this may change for europe ? We are doing things different in U.K. to U.S. as according to our channel 5 gadget show push to talk is massive in U.S. but texting is unheard of where exactly the opposite here in U.K. with text messaging reaching millions a day.I still look forward to the i-phone its a gadget fone and us mobile obbssessives love new technology whatever it maybe so its still generating a buzz here in U.K.

hmmmmm, if I buy one I can not use the phone option - I have ipod with 80GB memory, i do not need usless phone - luckly we do not have at$t here.

I think the iPhone is just unreal. Its just not like the others. Its just simply beautiful. The software is so smooth and stable. Nokias and Sony Ericssons are so clunky and buggy. Ok you cannot Bluetooth photos. Who cares. All the people who claim to hate it are either burning to buy it or simply don't have taste. Do yourself a favor and just go out and buy one

People, you must understand the manupoliation of this iphone... it has a pre-set features that dominate the use of it. for example, it is pre-set to use google maps - no other GPS software options. It is preset to use Youtube, well it is great to use you tube on it, but can you configure the you tube to other website, why you tube, how they paid Appl? - there is no way to trasfere files from and into the phone unless you actuly coonect it to the compiter through a USB port! and use the provided software!
what about blue touth! infra read!
However, this nice machine is a great phone in usa, and a great expensive Ipod anywhere else.

Hei Iphone like Aple Ipod is a fashion gaget.
Like Ipode .. are many mp3 players cheaper and like Ipode but they don't have style.
So .. Iphone is a fashion phone !

you don't know anything mp in a camera it's about how big you are goin to post a photo the optical in i-phone are perfect and this phone works with the best software ever

Dears, I've tested the iPhone yesterday and I can tell you this phone is Amazing!
The WIFI is enough to surf on broadband internet, no 3G of course because 3G is not yet the standart in the USA and with 2G your battery will save a lot of energy!
The 2M pixels camera is Fantastic, the quality given is perfect to publish your photos on the internet thanks to the 160dpi resolution and the screen gives 16M colors (the maximum you can have).
The only negative points : the virtual keyboard is not made to type a lot of messages (at least in the beginning) : you need an adapatation time ;
Second point ; when downloading Google Maps/Satelite view, it takes a few seconds to download the maps and display the satelite pictures!
The menus are extremely fast to upload and subtle and the finition is better than every phone made in the world.
Do not forget ; this is the only mobile phone for 600 dollars that gives you 8Gb of flash memory, other phones have maximum 64Mb and you need to buy a 2Gb memory card (+-30euros)

With 3 USA university degrees, working 8 with the no.1 marketing USA company (P&G), working in 25 different countries and working 12 years in the mobile business......let me analyze and predict the phenomenon iphone.
The iphone it makes sense in USA. The same way a Corvette, a Mustang and a TRANS-AM makes a lot of sense for the Americans.
iphone will be a GREAT looser when will be launched in Europe if it will be launched by the end of this year. The Europeans have a completely different approach than the Americans regarding their mobile needs. Marketing alone can NOT make a product great.
ADVICE to APPLE: If you launch iphone in Europe by end of the year MAKE SURE you launch the name of the product BUT UPGRADE IT FAST to cater for the European consumer needs!! Give us, 3G, MMS and all the other goodies that we are accustomed including minimum 5MPixel camera.
BIG looser in USA, as we speak, it is Motorola after the launch of iphone. It will be the end of Motorola unless they start announcing revolutionize models like they did with Razr V3.
LIFE is so SIMPLE and good strategy game is IMPORTANT but one needs to undesrtand the market. Unless the Americans think that they can take by the storm the UK or Cyprus market selling LHD Corvettes with 5.7 lt engines!!

New 2 years contract ? New Sim card ? Voice mail system will change ? and no MMS, Bluetooth?..Any kind of phones today, you can Return and Exchange very easy witting 30 days..But this phone came from STAR or SPACE with NEW Privacy ?..You have only 14 days to return, and they will charge you some additional fee, because box opened..Oh my god..This is very funny for me and allot of peoples im sure.

This mobile does not work all over the world except inUSA and with AT&T exclusivly. Once you buy it, you must activate it first and you should have an account with AT&T. does not work with any other cariar like Vodafone, organge, Etisalat, MTC - it does not work just with AT&T.
This phone is a looser made by a punch of looser's who wanted to manupolate the Communications industry.

If you read my previous comment; you'll probably understand that the iphone is unlockable and usable in other countries.
its just a tech know how. NO phone in the world has ever stood up to its claim that it is "unlockable". I repeat, no phone has ever been unlockable...

what good is the iphone locked? it sucks you can't even send or receive photos thru bluethooth the phone has serious issues.I just bought the Nokia E90, now that's a phone with class its my phone till they come out with the E90i way to go Nokia
